Solomon Rakotomanana, self-taught craftsman-sculptor, works with wood like no other. Born in 1955, of a sculptor-cabinetmaker father and a weaver mother, he lives since the age of 10 years his passion for the manipulation of wood. With 50 years of artistic career, he has never stopped creating. His works, carved in the mass, have been the subject of numerous exhibitions, including internationally.
