Located on Istiqbalia, opposite the Dama Hotel, the Thaka (in reference to the Montagnes mountains) is a clean and well-organised tourist hotel. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are not huge, but many of them have significant views of the Souk and the rooftops of Khartoum. The value for money is very good.

YOUTH HOSTEL

The ad hoc card is required but, as everywhere, it can be purchased on site for about guinées. A curfew and closing hours in the day complete the classic pattern of other youth hostels approved worldwide. A very good option for smaller groups and budgets!
