SOUK AL-ARABI

The shopping heart of Khartoum. In 2005, following the disappearance of the Mediterranean leader, John Garang, shortly after the signing of the Peace Accords, riots broke out in this souk, where all ethnic groups in Sudan and elsewhere were in conflict. As a general souk, he has nothing special. As a central souk, it is larger than the others. For everyday objects like souvenirs, it can be a good plan for browsing.
