The name indicates the trend of this restaurant opened in 2018 on the heights of the port. Dario Kozul, the owner, has surrounded himself with a young team to offer organic vegetarian cuisine. The local island produce comes from Brač and Hvar, is varied according to the season and delivered by small local farmers. A virtuous approach to healthy dishes: full salads, bowls, wraps, vegan burgers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, pasta, vegetable gnocchi, desserts, lactose-free ice creams and smoothies. Opening in 2022, the restaurant is the talk of the town. Already, its location on the riva (next to the university) has great potential at sunset. This is no ordinary formula, since it's a true vegetarian (the first in Zadar!) with a gastronomic bent that's right up there with the times. With legumes, seeds, cereals and vegetables, there's a lot to do here. The meat substitutes, particularly in the burgers, are astonishing. Creativity is the order of the day, both in the dishes and in the cocktails, with or without alcohol. Reservations recommended.

If you're a vegetarian or vegan, this is the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Located in the Gruž district, near the market, it doesn't have a terrace overlooking the port, but a large courtyard, where more and more people come to eat healthily on vacation. On the menu: vegetable soups, beet hummus, vegetarian burgers, falafel wraps, walnut salad, wholemeal pasta with tomato sauce or basil cream. You must try the raw chocolate cake.

The formula here is all vegetable and gourmet. On generous plates, the yellow of polenta or whole peppers contrasts with the green of broccoli, guacamole or blitva - the olive-oil crushed potato and chard or other green sprouts - typical of Croatian cuisine. Golden seed cakes with tomatoes, mixed legumes, minestrone, pasta with Istrian truffles, white or black rice and more. So many beautiful chromatic tones and good natural flavors. Good desserts too.
