Under the aegis of Ivana Marija Vidović, renowned classical pianist and artistic director of the Epidaurus festival, which takes its name from the ancient Roman city (Cavtat). The programme includes concerts and musical moments, discoveries of young talents, exhibitions and thematic artistic presentations (theatre, literature, poetry, folklore, cultural and gastronomic tourism) in order to promote the Cavtat/Konavle region near Dubrovnik.

The storytellers meet the public, young and old, in the town squares to share their stories and legends. The magical heritage of the Gorski Kotar/Lika region, nature, the mysteries of the mountains, forests and castles, but also the tumultuous history around Ogulin and folk traditions. A true intangible heritage, this oral folklore has been enhanced by the authors of children's stories, Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić and Priče iz Davnine.

In 2016-2017-2018, the city of Zagreb was singled out as Europe's favorite Christmas market, as well as for its illuminations. Since then, other capitals have entered the fray, but what we love here is the quaintness of the craft stalls on Jelačića Square, the hot wine and chocolate, the little red heart(licitar), the gingerbread... Merry entertainment on Europe Square or King Tomislav Square (open-air ice rink), on Zrinjevac alleys or the funicular passage. In the evening, the city comes alive with concerts, dancing and carols.

Just after the Dalmatian Song Festival, the historic centre is once again in jubilation. It is the return of its great annual event, which the city prepares well in advance to best organize the medieval festive atmosphere. Musicians, singers, dancers, jugglers, craftsmen, all in period costumes, participate in parades, demonstrations, escrow shows, street arts, not to mention gastronomy, wines and local products.

Since 2012, this baroque music festival has been growing in importance. Quality concert evenings have established its international reputation. Each year, prestigious musicians, singers, countertenors and soloists from Europe and around the world, specialized in the interpretation of baroque music, are invited. These artists are joined by the Croatian Baroque Ensemble, led by the famous violinist and artistic director of the festival, Laura Vadjon.
