The Honeysuckle is an Irish-style pub located along Ring Road East, with a distinctly British ambience, as if completely unaware that it's in Africa. Inside, you'll have no trouble finding a beer to your taste, as well as all sorts of rather well-turned cocktails. There's also an excellent range of dishes, mainly international with a Ghanaian twist. A must at soccer matches, this pub also has a similar establishment in East Legon.

Opened in 2018, Ace Tantra is one of the liveliest clubs for trendy youth. While the disco's demographic is rather young, it's no less stylish! As in many other clubs in Accra, the bass is responsible for making the walls vibrate. But here more than anywhere else, appearance and elegance are the order of the day: at Ace Tantra, people come to dance but also to show off. We recommend a visit on the occasion of a specifically organized evening. A perfect address for getting to know Accra by night.

Inside, the floor is small, but isn't the important thing to meet and mingle? A trendy melting pot place, the success is largely due to the owner. His friends are with him behind the bar and everyone knows each other. Music-wise, the parties start with disco and rock, then end with reggae, ragga and RnB. Whether in the inner courtyard of the hotel of the same name, or in one of the two rooms of the Byblos bar, one always has a pleasant time. If you are feeling peckish, one of the many Lebanese gastronomic specialties on the menu will satisfy you. The non-alcoholic drinks (for cocktails, aim for happy hour, late afternoon/early evening) are also excellent, like the papaya-ginger smoothie! Mainly foreign customers, good atmosphere, rather relaxed. We like it.

Two brothers run this little bar on the north side of town. Admittedly, the White House doesn't have the majesty of its Washington namesake, and looks more like a shack for good friends than a venue open to the public, but that's probably what makes it so charming! A small TV hidden in the background plays video clips of African singers. Bronx, one of the two brothers, is an artist himself, and you can talk to him if he's around. Grilled meats and hearty dishes at great prices!

Central and cheap Internet café, just opposite Busy-Internet. 

The aptly named Zen Garden will delight those who want to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by a verdant, tranquil garden, you can enjoy solid, healthy breakfasts, hearty international dishes for lunch or dinner (salads, pastas, pizzas, burgers, grills) and sandwiches all day long. The smoothie and cocktail menu is equally extensive and appetizing. The Zen Garden is also a well-known concert venue!

Epo's couldn't be better located: right in the heart of Osu's dynamic nightlife district. While you can eat and drink here at any time of day, at weekends the place spreads its wings to the point of blocking the small street that leads to it, and transforms itself into a dance floor. For those who prefer to take in the sights and sounds, there's a very pleasant terrace. A party Mecca in Accra.

A landmark in Accra, popular with locals and expatriates alike, the Republic Bar welcomes a merry mix of people from all backgrounds and walks of life after dark. At weekends, the tables and chairs of this small bar take over the road, and the DJ livens up the evening. Bands can also be found plugging in their instruments and seriously raising the temperature! It's a good place to eat local food and try cocktails made with local spirits (try the "Republic"), in a multicultural atmosphere. We love it here.

Opened at the very beginning of 2018, Ozzie's Beach Palace recently celebrated five years in business. Five years in which this beach bar has managed to make a name for itself in the capital. It's a place to enjoy great cocktails, late in the day and in the evening, but also to enjoy regular art exhibitions and live music concerts. Conveniently located in the Labadi neighborhood, it's a great place to meet up with a group for a drink, but also to enjoy some grilled food and other snacks while taking in the ocean view.

The +233, the name referring to the country's telephone code, is the best place in the city to listen to live music. Many Ghanaian and African artists perform there. In a subdued atmosphere, you will enjoy listening to jazz, blues and high life, outdoors, while sipping a good cocktail. The courteous and professional staff will take care of the rest and will offer you grilled meats, burgers, hot dogs... If you want to book a table, you will probably have no trouble remembering the number to dial.

A spacious Sports Bar/Pub opened in 2017, ideal for drinking a beer between friends during a football match. Several flat screens are arranged throughout the room and the decoration evokes the sporting universe. The kitchen is typical of this type of place: pizza, burger, wings, fries and rare local specialties. Servers are friendly and efficient. The weekend after enjoying the meal, you can make the pleasure last. The pub turns into a nightclub and the large hall acts as a dance floor.

Unusual but true, when we ask the inhabitants of Cape Coast where to go for a good night out, the answer that often comes back is: at the gas station! Live music, grilled food and ice cold beers. Just tell your cab driver that you are going to "go oil filling station at Pedu junction". Opened in 2017, Sandbox Beach Bar is a sprawling outdoor lounge bar with a view of the sea offering a variety of whimsical-looking cocktails. The place attracts a good crowd, especially on weekend nights. For those who want to take a dip (don't forget your swimsuit), a large staircase leads directly to the beach, which the SandBox terrace overlooks. At nightfall, the DJ raises the temperature. The cuisine is simple: fast food, grilled meats and local specialties to eat on the go. A very nice place.

The emblematic night club of Accra, unchallenged year after year in a city where the demanding clientele is in perpetual search of novelties and where the bars and discotheques are disappearing in front of a tough competition. A charming bar on stilts at the entrance to Keta, surrounded by bungalows also on stilts. It's hard to resist parking your car for a moment to discover this peaceful spot and quench your thirst. In the bedrooms and bathrooms, comfort is limited and it's not advisable to spend the night here because of the parasites living in the water. It's an ideal place for a brief stopover and a few pretty souvenir photos.

With its pretty wooden storefront, Gaia Organics Cafe reveals its offer just by its name. Here you can enjoy delicious coffees, accompanied by a variety of homemade cookies, cakes, pancakes and other sweets, but also fruit juices and smoothies, as well as incredible hearty bowls made with local organic products.
