Around a main building are several intimate spaces, all eaten by the powerful vegetation. Here you can taste a very good Ghanaian cuisine, served quickly. It is not rare that the place organizes evenings of live music, in particular the weekend, making raise the temperature of the place of some degrees. Ideal for lunch and dinner.

Located not far from the Emperor Ital Joint, opposite the Orange Beach Resort, New Life Food & Drinks is an alternative to the vegetarian restaurant. With its green storefront advertising all the dishes and beverages available inside, it's not long before you step through the portico and sit down on its small, shaded terrace. From pasta and rice dishes to kebabs and crêpes, all appetites and tastes should be satisfied here. Beware, though, that portions are copious. A word of advice: finish your first plate before moving on to the next!

The VRA Maritime Club (for Volta River Authority) is located about 4 km from Akosombo, on the Asuogyaman-Atimpoku road that spans the dam. The main asset of this restaurant is its jetty, which allows to reach it by boat, and a nice green space with plants and flowers. We also appreciate the panoramic view on the lake and the rather nice decoration of the service room. On the plate, the fish of the lake are honored: grilled, the famous tilapia (accompanied by an abundant garnish) is a real treat.

The illusion is successful: sitting around a table on the sunny terrace, you feel like you are on the Adriatic. Being located on a public esplanade, there are a multitude of fruit and vegetable stalls all around the restaurant, making room for an interesting market. It is certainly the most recommended address in town, and at a very competitive price.

A real little Mexican kitchen, the Borracha offers an almost psychedelic dive into Mexican culinary culture: pop and acid colors, neon lights and reproductions of the famous mariachis, skeleton version, prevail everywhere in the decor. This panache is also found in the preparations, which are the great classics of Mexican gastronomy: nachos, guacamole, tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas... Note the Loteria evenings, a kind of bingo with challenges, doped with cocktails and tequila shots! Salud !

But the main reason for visiting is to refresh yourself with fresh juices and natural smoothies. Originally conceived as a café, it has since evolved into a vegetarian restaurant!
