Off the coast of Pointe-Noire, every year between mid-July and the end of September, you can witness the ballet of whales that come to feed and reproduce during this period. It's also not uncommon to spot colonies of dolphins, also present during the dry season. Since 2021, the travel agency Le Guide du Congo has been offering sea trips to observe these marine mammals. Located opposite the Mami Wata restaurant, Brazzaville's only nautical complex offers trips on the Congo River in motorized pirogues or speedboats. You can spend a few hours discovering tourist sites such as the cliffs of Manguenguengue, Faignond Island or fishing villages. Or take a day trip and picnic on a sandbank.
