To travel up the Alima to Mossaka, you need to go to the river port, just beyond the old port, now a fairground market. Royal Air Maroc is Morocco's national airline. It links Paris-Orly to Brazzaville via Casablanca three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). The only - slight - downside is that departure and arrival times in Brazzaville are often in the middle of the night. It is advisable to confirm your return ticket with the airline a few days before departure.

Founded in 2003, the Congolese airline offers flights between Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire every day, with two round trips per day, except on Sundays when only one round trip is scheduled between the two cities. Founded by Congolese businessman Lombers Tchibinda in 1994, this airline is based in Pointe-Noire. It offers scheduled flights within the country to Dolisie, Brazzaville, Ollombo, Nkayo, Mossendjo, etc., as well as flights to Benin, Cameroon and Gabon. However, following the fall in traffic, some flights to African countries are currently suspended. Since December 2022, Angola's national airline has been operating twice-weekly flights (Mondays and Fridays) from Luanda to Pointe-Noire.
