TAI NATIONAL PARK
Read moreYou can access it by leaving San Pedro in the north, direction Toulepleu in Guinea: This park of more than 300 000 hectares (listed on the list of the International Network of Biosphere Reserves in 1978 and the World Heritage of UNESCO in 1982) extends between the cities of Guiglo to the North, Soubré to the east, Taï to the West, and San Pedro to the South. Its main attraction is not so much in its fauna as in its vegetation of primary forest. Undertake absolutely if you visit the park: the climbing of Mount Niénokoué, which makes it possible to have an unobstructed view of the forest of the national park of Taï.
Nb: be sure before you leave that the safe conditions are ok, west Ivorian being, for many years, a relatively unstable region.
