The house organizes táncház (a folk dance session preceded by a class), concerts and sells the CDs of its own label (THE reference in folk music), especially on Wednesdays. Gödör (literally, the "hole"), Budapest's nightlife mecca, had taken over the vacant space left by the aborted construction of the national theater. A staircase descends under the large Erzsébet square (very popular with partygoers in summer), from which one can see the pools. There are several concert halls inside, and the program is sophisticated. Akvárium, which has become more "trendy" and less alternative, attracts the top names.
