It is Budapest's only airport, and now has only one operating terminal divided into two parts (2 A, B), connected by a commercial pedestrian bridge (the Sky court) accessible to passengers only. From Kecskemét, take road 54 south for about 5 km towards Soltvadkert, then take a small road on km to Matkópuszta. In the heart of the Puszta, a few kilometres south of Kecskemét, is one of the most beautiful airports in Hungary (contact the airport for any private plane trip; possibility to rent a hangar). The airport is connected to a welcoming family leisure centre which offers, in a pleasant setting, numerous sports or recreational activities: tennis, swimming pool, gym, sauna, children's garden, horse riding, aviation lessons… and, of course, unforgettable plane rides over the region. It is also possible to reserve some of the premises (hotel, restaurant, conference rooms…) for seminars or weddings. Those who wish can even get married in the air! An unforgettable memory!

The Palota Ház, inaugurated in 2013, now houses a tourist information center, coupled with a self-service restaurant serving Hungarian specialties, a café, a courtyard showcasing old-fashioned craftsmanship with real artisans at work (potter, sculptor/smith, wood smith, paper maker...) and small stores. BKK also operates on boats. In this case, it is not a cruise thought in view of foreign tourists and it is so much better. The BKK had 3 main boat lines: D12, D2 and D11. Unfortunately, these lines have been stopped since the Covid. It is possible that they will be put back in circulation, but nothing is sure.

Further south, the D14 is still operating. It is unlikely that you will use it as a tourist, but it connects two shores (Csepel-Királyerdő and Soroksár, Molnár-sziget) every day of the week.

The cogwheel train takes you to the foot of Mount Széchenyi, where the Buda Hills are located, or the children's train. An ordinary transport ticket is sufficient. It has been in operation since 1874. It offers you an experience on board a period carriage. Today it is part of the city's streetcar network and bears the number 60. It will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2024. The red and white cogwheel train connects Városmajor and Széchenyi Hill several times a day.
