Overlooking the valley, the castles of Bruniquel celebrate the eponymous village, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. There are two of them: a «old castle» dating back to the thirteenth century and a «young castle» built in the fifteenth century, following family rivalries. However, it is the young castle that will be abandoned until it is listed as a historic monument in the nineteenth century. Since then, guided tours are being organized from March to November to discover the history of these two buildings, which have meanwhile served as the backdrop to Robert Enrico's old rifle.

At the beginning of the Campaign, two discovery trails allow you to explore the bois in search of traces left by prehistoric men who lived there. Both trails are easy and accessible to children. The North Forest loop starts from the state forest park and is 5,6 km, while the South Forest loop starts from the parking at the entrance to the village and takes 2,5 km. Both offer views of the Bugue and can be complemented by other hiking trails.

Le Moulin de Bois de Champ is a bed and breakfast located in Bois-de-Champ, in the Vosges mountains. This artisanal family distillery is located in Balbronn, a small village in the Alsatian hills 20 km west of Strasbourg. The Hagmeyer family, who are orchardists and distillers, have a centuries-old know-how. Since 1921 they regularly invest to develop their distillery while maintaining an irreproachable quality. Since 2007 which is the year of inauguration of their new distillation workshop, it is divided into 2 sites. one dedicated to the vatting, the fermentation or the maceration and the distillation with 5 stills allowing to treat in due time 100 to 200 tons of fruits, marcs, berries or roots per year. Its second site welcomes visitors for guided tours, houses a shop as well as the ripening and maturing of brandies and their bottling. Alsatian kirsch, Mirabelle of Alsace, Poire Williams, Quince, Eglantine, Abricot, Prunelle, Sorbier, Alisier, Myrtille… their spirits are mainly made from the fruit of their harvests and, for those that they do not produce, they favour local supply for quality fruit and berries. The shop presents their spirits and liquors. You will also find the traditional Alsatian flute and other more original bottles.

It is the oldest distillery of Alsace (since 1850) which is labelled Entreprise du patrimoine which works for its know-how of excellence. Lehmann Distillery is situated in Obernai, on the famous wine route in the heart of the Alsace vineyards and at the foot of the massif of Vosges. It distils spirits, liquors and more recently its famous whisky, "Elsass Whisky", for the greatest pleasure of connoisseurs. This emblematic distillery proposes for groups two formulas of organised visits as they wish to share a gastronomy and a know-how that they have claimed for five generations. In Uberach, which is a village 30 km north of Strasbourg, the heritage largely rests on its vineyards and the quality of its spirits, liquors and now Alsatian whiskies. As early as 1913, Eugène Massenez wanted to be an avant-garde by distilling wild raspberries for the first time... This spirit became a phenomenal success thanks in particular to the loyalty of the Queen of Sweden who fell in love with this raspberry when she came to Alsace. In the 1950s, the Massenez Distillery experienced a real boom by being present in the most famous restaurant in France: BBocuse, Verger, Troisgros, etc., and a few others such as La Tour d'Argent, Maxime's, Lenotre, etc. Finally after the 1960s, Gabriel Massenez decided as a precursor to export. Lastly, when he dealt with the Asian market, he successfully bet on the raspberry brandy (the fruit was unknown by its population) and the famous pear prisoner. The Maison Massenez, which is now associated with Grandes Distilleries Peureux, continues an avant-garde lineage and advocates, through Miss Massenez, a brand new consumption of brandies, creams and liquors: the cocktails! The estate of the Dupont family - 50 ha in size including 30ha of cider apple orchards - located in Pays d'Auge and renowned for the quality of its terroir products has been operating for four generations. It strives to make traditional and original products so as to offer a wide range of renowned gastronomic cider products: various ciders, calvados and pommeaux. The individual visit of the distillery and of the cellars is followed by a tasting (1 cider, 1 pommeau, 1 calvados). Guided tours for groups of 10 people or more are available all year round by reservation. It offers various options at adapted rates: the short visit lasts approximately 1 hour and includes the distillery and the cellar. It ends at the shop with a tasting. The long visit lasts 1 hour 30 mins with a visit of the orchards, the press, the distillery and the cellars + tasting. The tasting visit is similar to the previous one but with the tasting of cider products together with local cheeses, delis and pastries. These associations are commented by a sommelier. Institut Griottines inaugurated in 2009 by the Grandes Distilleries Peureux is a new unique concept gathering 3 spaces dedicated to different but complementary activities in one building: a magnificent Griottines shop; 3 specialised laboratories one in pastry, one in chocolate and the third one in cooking and; finally a cooking course and professional demonstrations centre for individuals. All this on a total area of about 450 m ², including 188 m ² dedicated to the Griottines shop. Various events are held throughout the year at the Institute for individual demonstrations and courses.
