Right bank, departure from Thionville. Follow the canal as far as Yutz, then follow the river through its loop. From Basse-Ham, you reach Koenigsmacker.
Left bank, departure from Manom. But you can also reach the banks at Thionville, below the town hall. This paved road links Manom to Remich in Luxembourg for just over 50 km.
Rive et coeur de ville en fête: an event not to be missed during the summer months (July-August). It's organized by the city of Thionville, and the festive atmosphere is guaranteed! On the riverbanks, it's time for festivities and relaxation. On Thionville's quaysides, the little booths are packed with drinks, ice creams and other delicacies. Children can enjoy a range of fun and sporting activities. As for the lazier ones, they can simply settle down with a book on the deckchairs set up for the occasion.
