From Sarrebourg, you can cycle along rural landscapes, meadows, forests and typical Lorraine villages in just 12 km. For those who have already decided, this is a fabulous family walk, where you can take the time to discover nature while getting some exercise. Since summer 2002, 130 km (Forcalquier, Manosque, Lourmarin, Cavaillon section) have been added to the existing 105 km (Cavaillon to Forcalquier, via Apt), for a total loop of 236 km. This cyclo-tourism network between France and Germany comprises over 330 km of cycle routes. It connects a number of tourist attractions in East Moselle and the Saarland, including the La Mine museum at Carreau Wendel, the Bliesbruck-Reinheim archaeological park, the Sarreguemines earthenware circuit, Saarbrücken's historic city center and the Völklingen steelworks. On the French side, the tourist information centers in Sarreguemines, Forbach and Sarralbe can provide two-wheeled tourism aficionados with all the information they need.

On this cycling circuit you can start from Servance, Faucogney-et-la-Mer or Beulotte-Saint-Laurent. We chose Servance and the Saut de l'Ognon to start this loop of the Little Finland, which crosses the region of the thousand ponds. The circuit oscillates between 360 and 680 m of altitude. Located on the former municipal campsite, the 33,500^m2 Bike Park is sure to delight two-wheeled enthusiasts. The complex includes a ludikpark (from 6 years), a babypark (from 2 years), pumptrack tracks, a slop style, a dirt zone for acrobatic and aerial tricks, an all-terrain wheelchair course, a washing and inflation station and a repair workshop, all surrounded by a cross-country loop of almost one kilometer. Trials zones and a BMX Race track complete this sports park dedicated to cycling.

If you didn't know, the "Avenue Verte" route linking Paris to London passes near you. Called "L'Oise des bâtisseurs", this section is divided into five stages over 91 km, each combining sport, relaxation and culture. Cross the Oise to discover a rich historical heritage: three abbeys including Royaumont, Chantilly castle, Beauvais cathedral, the royal city of Senlis... Your breaks will be cultural!

This route invites you to ride in the last territory attached to France in 1947. The village of La For and the classified valley of Roya have many historical and architectural treasures, which will be known to you as the kilometres travelled… Among them, the sanctuary of Notre-Dame-des-Fontaines deserves an extended stop: You will discover a whole range of culture and traditions in the Brigasque region. The Saint Martin collegiate church, the castle of the counts of Lascaris and the Rooster bridge are also worth a visit, as well as the famous Cà d'arbinée, typical of the Haute high Valley in the form of amphitheatre.

You don't need to take the train to discover the Bocage Bourbonnais on this old railway line. Velorails allow you to travel in an original and friendly way along the kilometres of now disused tracks. You can use the electric assistance or do without it, depending on your desire and courage. From the gigantic statues of the Asian pagoda of Noyant to the viaduct overhanging the pond of Messarges. Here is the ideal place for a bike ride with a family! Very little relief, rich and colourful flora, small roads secure and isolated from circulation: the Quail plain definitely meets all the criteria for a successful outdoor exit. It would be a shame to miss the unusual story of the Quail meteorite, whose breeding is now visible in the church bell!

On foot or by bike, you will ride along the Rhône on a sandy track without too much of a difference in altitude, as far as the abbey of Saint-Roman. It is already planned that in a few years' time, this Green Way will be extended to the Pont du Gard; it will then measure 18 kilometres, this cycle route linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. But don't worry, this will give you time to improve your skills!

This greenway follows the path of the old railway line that once linked Carmaux to the Découverte mine. Today, the rails have given way to a pleasant shady walk and the mine to a rather complete leisure centre. With 35 kilometres of free cycle paths, it will allow you to continue your physical effort a little longer. The only drawback is that the surface is not ideal for rollerblades.

If this Véloroute starts in Saint-Cirq-Madelon, it ends exactly at the Écoute s'il Pleut lake, at the entrance of Gourdon. So don't expect to connect the two villages. If you are looking for a nice bike ride, on the other hand, this walk in Bouriane will satisfy you. Pleasant, its itinerary evolves on small roads that are safer than the average, so much so that it is almost like a Voie verte.

This route connects the towns of Châtillon-sur-Loire and Beaulieu-sur-Loire along the Loire River. Both banks of the river are equipped for cyclists. Moreover, the south bank will make you discover the island of Ousson and the lock of Mantelot, two classified sites. The north bank allows you to visit the villages of Bonny-sur-Loire and Ousson-sur-Loire, by crossing the suspension bridge of Châtillon. This bicycle path is part of a 21 km section linking Briare to Beaulieu-sur-Loire.

This easy itinerary along the Loire allows you to cover the 14 km between Briare and Gien in just 1 hour. You start by crossing the Loire and the Canal Latéral on the Briare canal bridge. You'll then pass through the villages of Saint-Firmin-sur-Loire and Saint-Brisson-sur-Loire, where you can stop to visit its ^12th-century château. All that remains is to cross Saint-Martin-sur-Ocre before arriving in Gien and its medieval castle.

The small size of the Territoire de Belfort is an advantage for sportsmen and tourists. Get on your bike in the city center of its capital, then head south along the Savoureuse River. Soon, the countryside takes over - it is easy to understand why Alphonse Allais called Belfort "the city in the country". In Sévenans, go back to your starting point via the Coulée verte on the canal from Montbéliard to Haute-Saône, direction Botans.

The canyon of the Nesque can be discovered by bicycle, by a 65 kilometers loop which connects the communes of Villes-sur-Auzon, Méthamis, Sault and Monieux. This itinerary on the side of the mountain is quite long and is reserved for sportsmen. However, you can approach it by sections to facilitate the walk. For example: only 6 kilometers separate Sault from Monieux. Take the opportunity to visit these two villages which offer beautiful panoramas on the valley.

The town of Peyruis and its surrounding area are extremely suitable for bicycle rides. let us go back to the saddle! This circuit begins with the entrance of the camping Les Cicadas, and develops in the first part in the heart of an agricultural plain where fruit trees reign. Then it penstock the A 51 motorway over a few kilometres. The return to the village can be carried out through the various routes leading to your right: rallongez it or shortchange it as you wish.

Between good friends or with your toddlers, this easy ride by bike invites you to discover the corners of the Durance valley. At the beginning of the ruins of the Marquis de Piosin castle, at the top of the village of Peyruis, it then alternate between trails, trails, grimpettes and dishes. With pedal shots, it will take you successively near the Jas jas, remnant of a past peasant tradition, and then to the Pierre Planted. Walk between two waters, or rather between two lands: you are here between the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the Alpes-Maritimes. At the beginning of St. Roch's Square in Peyruis, this bike ride presents absolutely no difficulty. It is therefore particularly recommended for families and cyclistes. In the programme: 4,3 km, or about minutes, unless you prefer to stop here or there, to enjoy the surrounding calm. St. Roch Chapel, the Manosque Canal and the Lit bed (small rivers) will delight your short journey. You will then return to a good port by doing half-turn, simply!

As its name suggests, this Véloroute runs along the beaches, and is only accessible by bike. Too bad for pedestrians, who will have to find another option. Built as part of a larger project that will later link Le Barcarès to Argelès-Plage, its 13 kilometers provide a pleasant opportunity for training between Le Barcarès and Canet-Plage. Made up of 70% Voie Verte, most of the track runs along the RD 81.

This cycle route links Amiens and Arras via Corbie and Albert, crossing several major sites of the First World War. From Amiens to Corbie, this route follows the Somme river and then follows the Ancre valley, from Corbie to Miraumont, passing through Albert, before going back up towards Artois. A very pleasant and slow way to (re) discover the heritage! The route of the circuit can be downloaded from the tourist office website.

Enjoy mountain biking in summer in an exceptional setting, without the presence of ski slopes! Choose from two green trails, four blue trails, four red trails and two black trails. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, you'll be able to enjoy this sport in a grandiose environment, with a total course of 27.5 km, guaranteeing thrills and spills. Mountain bike outings accompanied by an instructor are available, including discovery of Isola 2000 trails, an introduction to freeride and a snack break.

Enjoy the fresh mountain air to make mountain biking. Auron has the largest mountain bike area in the Alpes-Maritimes department. This is one of our favorite cycling loops in Haute-Saône. 24 km to discover the plateau of Milles Etangs. Departure from Mélisey, we can make a first break in Ecromagny to discover the trade of blacksmith, then direction Annegray and the vestiges of an abbey founded by Saint Colomban. We then pass by the Saint-Martin chapel in La Mer and by Faucogney, a small comtois town of character. 470 meters of difference in altitude. A relatively easy walk to discover the magnificent landscapes of this country: ponds, meadows, forests.

Get on your bike for a ride on the banks of the Moselle! The blue way can be taken in Metz by the Eblé bridge. Several routes are available. The route from Metz to Corny-sur-Moselle for example, round trip is about 40 km. Don't worry, the path is well indicated and tables for eating are available. For the more adventurous, the route from Metz to Thionville and back is about 60 km. In total, this cycle route offers 700 km of cycling, from Luxembourg to Lyon, along the water...
