BUBBLICIOUS XXL

Behind this facade, which could not be more appetizing, hides a 200m2 temple of greed... And it's none other than the second Bubblicious, in an XXL version, the work of Camille, who already runs Cam's Cake. Here you will fall in the many sweets she concocts over the years, with, in addition, a sustainable development trend and full of surprises: new recipes of bubble tea (this drink made of tea and tapioca balls from Taiwan), new glasses, bamboo straws, and always these ultra colorful donuts ... hmmm!

New gourmet address recommended! A passionate team, with Sophie, a pastry chef by trade, concocting the sweet treats every day - cheesecake, banana bread, carrot cake, cookies... - and Jean for the savoury "canteen": bagels, buns, avocado toast.... Here, the watchword is "homemade", with rigorously selected local products for the most part. A fine range of specialty coffees, much appreciated by connoisseurs, and even an eco-responsible ethic for cold drinks. The terrace is very pleasant and the welcome very friendly.

Take the time to experience a fika break. It's happening at Café Fika, right next to the Capitol. Don't be surprised to meet the Swedish community there. Fika comes from the Scandinavian latitudes and their passion for this very fragrant beverage that they consume in large quantities. Understand coffee in slang, so to speak! This word has become synonymous with an art of living. We take the time to do ourselves good by accompanying our hot drink with a kanelbulle or brioche roll with cinnamon, sometimes with cardamom or with apples... The address is held by a French-Swedish couple who invites you to discover the specialities from the Nordic countries from breakfast to afternoon tea!

Our landmark address! Everything is gourmet in this stylish and refined tearoom. Nathalie and François offer a delightful menu, ideal from breakfast to snack time. Soft music, a welcoming bench, a smile behind the counter, Café Papiche has what it takes to seduce you. Small but very cozy. His "lunch formula" advocates "homemade". The choice is between a soup of the day and fresh bread, also from the master's oven, or a piece of quiche, a dessert and a coffee of very high quality and selected with great care. No weariness for the regulars because the freshly squeezed juice also changes according to the products and the mood of the moment. Ditto for Sunday morning brunch. Hearty, tasty... you leave very happy because you are full of the mixture of flavours between here and elsewhere! Be careful, it's better to book!

The Counter Zanzibar is a little the island to the mysteries of the childhood of Geraldine Veyret. A cave with treasures that never contain the same secrets. There are always new features! The last project is the manufacture of chocolate and spreads tablets. For this, Geraldine is following training at the higher national pastry school. In the meantime, it is always a pleasure to find the jars of nougats, the traditional niniches (which it alone proposes in Rhône-Alpes!), the spice bottles… Geraldine is inexhaustible on the products it uncovers in small artisans. We love Zanzibar for its famous dishes (Metis and rum, purple…), for its famous ice creams with incomparable taste, its many teas, cafes and infusions, its little aperitifs and unknown wines, its Confitures jams, and especially for the talent and friendliness of the boss! The place is not just a fine grocery store, it's also a wonderful tea lounge where you can calmly taste a good gingerbread or a little orange cake and an exhibition room where the artists give it to heart. In the evening you are advised to stay in order to sample the Counter kitchen. According to the Geraldine season will surprise you! If you need to go to Chambles on Foot only for this address!

Without preservatives or cocoa butter... Drinks as well as bars can be flavored with many flavors: chili, cinnamon, ginger, crushed hazelnuts, gingerbread mix, coconut, sesame, fleur de sel, almonds, raisins, cranberries, edible flower petals... Among our favorites: chocolate making. You can make your own chocolate bar from the cocoa bean during a 2-hour workshop or simply discover the origins of cocoa (1-hour workshop)!

Nestled under the cathedral, this small tea room is an address that you can keep under your elbow in the event of a rainy afternoon, to warm up with a good Viennese or Liège chocolate and a homemade pastry. Although, the terrace on sunny days is not bad either! As for sweets, the choice varies, and it is rich: cakes, muffins, carrot cakes, chocolate, caramel, pies... A hot drink + pastry formula anticipates your delicacy. The house also offers brunch on weekends (don't forget to book), and dishes and sandwiches for lunch. A smiling and friendly welcome, perfect for meeting friends, you feel good there.
