Day 1: JOUR 1 - SAMEDI : FRANCE - LOUXOR

Steps: Louxor

Flight to Luxor. Meals or snacks on board. Welcome on arrival by our representative to help you with visa formalities if you don't already have one. Transfer to your traditional Dahabeya cat. Standard NL and installation in your cabin. Dinner (depending on flight time) and overnight on board.

Day 2: JOUR 2 - DIMANCHE : LOUXOR - RIVE GAUCHE - ESNA

Steps: Louxor, Esna

Breakfast on board. This morning, departure for the Valley of the Kings, tombs of the Pharaohs and the Valley of the Queens. Continue along the left bank of the river towards the Sacred Mountains, home to the imposing temple of Hatshepsut, the Queen Pharaoh, carved out of the limestone rock and magnificently restored. Pass by the Colossi of Memnon. After sightseeing, typical lunch with local people. Sailing to Esna. Cocktail to introduce the crew and onboard personnel. Arrival in Esna late evening. Dinner and overnight on board.


Day 3: JOUR 3 - LUNDI : EDFOU

Steps: Edfou

Breakfast on board. Arrive in Edfu in the late morning, and visit the Temple of Horus. The temple was built by the Ptolemies in the great Pharaonic tradition. It is one of the most prestigious in the country, due to its proportions, and certainly one of the best preserved. Lunch on board. Sail to Al Ramady Island or Bassaw Island, where you can share a moment with the locals. Local cooking class in the early evening. Dinner and overnight on board.


Day 4: JOUR 4 - MARDI : KOM OMBO - HOR DIAB

Steps: Kôm-Ombo

Breakfast on board. Sail to Kom Ombo. On arrival, visit the temple. With its Greco-Roman architecture, it is dedicated to Ha-roëris and Sobek, the crocodile god. Then lunch. Continuation to Hor Diab, where you'll experience bathing in the purest water of the Nile. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5: JOUR 5 - MERCREDI : ASSOUAN - PHILAE - ASSOUAN

Steps: Assouan, Philae

Breakfast on board. Arrival in Aswan. Ride aboard the famous "feluccas" and visit the unfinished obelisk. Lunch on board. Afternoon at leisure. In the early evening, sound and light show at the Temple of Philae. Moved to a nearby island, this temple was saved from the waters by UNESCO after 8 years of truly "Pharaonic" work! Dinner and overnight on board.


Day 6: JOUR 6 - JEUDI : ASSOUAN - ESNA

Steps: Esna, Assouan

Breakfast on board. Free day in Aswan. Discover local life at your own pace as you stroll through the alleys and souk, and enjoy a drink on the terraces of Aswan's small bars! Lunch on board. Return on board and sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Optional excursion (payable on site): This morning, departure by bus for the grandiose site of Abu Simbel! Built by Ramses II and originally located on the sacred hills of Meha and Ibshek, the temples were completely dismantled and rebuilt higher up on a dummy hill overlooking Lake Nasser.

Day 7: DAY 7 - FRIDAY: ESNA - LOUXOR

Steps: Louxor, Esna

Breakfast on board. Discover the temple of Karnak, a group of majestic edifices forming the largest archaeological site in the world. 134 columns, a 2 km-long avenue of Sphinxes, a lake, monumental statues... Everything here shows excess, gigantism and, above all, what Egyptian supremacy was 3000 years ago. Then lunch. Night visit to Luxor Temple. Farewell evening on board. Dinner and overnight on board.

Optional excursion (to be paid on site): Temple of Esna, recently renovated with the colors of yesteryear.


Day 8: JOUR 8 - SAMEDI : LOUXOR - FRANCE

Steps: Louxor

Breakfast on board. Transfer to Luxor airport and flight to France.
