Day 1: A smooth arrival in Bali

Steps: Tabanan

To plunge you immediately into the heart of unspoilt, protected Bali, we'll take you from the moment you arrive to a hotel totally lost in the rice paddies and forest, at the foot of a spectacular, little-known volcano. The program includes encounters, calm and nature to mark the start of this all-female adventure.

Day 2: Yoga class overlooking the rice fields

Steps: Tabanan

The day after your arrival, after any walks to discover the surrounding villages and secret waterfalls of the region, we suggest you attend a girls' yoga class under the colors of the sunset. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, this is your chance to practice Ashtanga yoga, one of the many yogas taught in Bali.

Day 3: Bali's rice granary

Steps: Pemuteran

In the morning, you'll have the chance to take in some more of the sights, before heading off on the magnificent Pupuan rice paddy road, considered to be Bali's rice granary, which you'll cross by car and, above all, on foot. The landscapes of tiered rice paddies are truly magnificent, and some villages seem to have been lost in time. We attach great importance to flexibility, so the number and length of your walks will depend on your wishes. You'll then be able to rely on your guide to find the most beautiful spots, and help you to grasp the secrets of a rice-growing industry unique in the world, which has become a symbol of the island and a cultural treasure in its own right.

At the end of the day, you'll reach a peaceful bay, bordered by the mountainous foothills of the north-west.

Day 4: Snorkeling and beach in Menjangan Park

Steps: Pemuteran

Farniente will be king here, unless you decide to visit a few temples in the vicinity, as a pretext for exploring the surrounding area. However, the main activity is sure to be scuba diving or snorkeling at some of Bali's best preserved and richest sites. Located off the small island of Menjangan, they are accessible by boat, which your guide will charter for you. The program also includes deserted white sandy beaches, mangrove forests and birdwatching.

At the end of the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to take a short walk (all uphill) of around 20 minutes to a hilltop temple, where you can contemplate the superb sunset over the ocean and surrounding mountains.

Turtle conservation

During this stopover, you can visit the small turtle sanctuary. You'll have the chance to release one on the beach back into the ocean. And depending on the maturity of the eggs currently at the center, you may even have the chance to see some hatch in the sand and witness the first moments in the life of these baby turtles.

Day 5: Departure for the central mountains

Steps: Munduk

After a few stops to discover a Buddhist temple, bathe in ancient volcanic hot springs in the heart of a superb plant setting and take in the thermal baths, you'll head up towards the mountains in the center of the island to reach a pretty mountain village, situated at 900 meters altitude between terraced rice fields, market gardens and clove trees. Here, you can discover a small waterfall and, if you have a little time left, try your hand at a rehearsal of the giant spinning top competition particular to this region.

Day 6: Jungle, lake, waterfalls and meeting with the ANAK association

Steps: Amed, Munduk

This is an ideal starting point for discovering a small high-altitude lake, which you can walk around in the rainforest for one or two hours (to be decided on the spot), before crossing by traditional pirogue on your way back.

You'll then discover a number of waterfalls nestled in lush vegetation. Enjoy a swim in the large pools of cool, clear water. You can also take a 2-hour hike through the forest to discover some secret waterfalls before returning to Amed.

ANAK Association

In the early afternoon, you'll make your way to the Anak association's social and cultural center facing the sea. Here, you'll get to know the team, then discover and take part in the various activities organized for the village's children: games, dancing, singing... If you're interested in sponsoring a child, we can arrange for you to visit a family in the region.

Day 7: Snorkeling, black sand beaches and the PEDULI ALAM association

Steps: Amed

You'll certainly want to take a traditional boat trip at dawn (or later!) to accompany the fishermen, and, why not, catch your evening meal, as well as discover this magnificent landscape in retrospect, as seen from the sea. It's a succession of pretty bays on the mountainside, each home to a fishing village and dominated by the impressive stature of the Agung volcano, Bali's highest at 3142 metres.

The PEDULI ALAM association

If you wish, you can take time out during this stopover to discover the Peduli Alam association, which offers a different view of Bali. The association's aim is to raise local awareness of the need for better waste management, particularly of plastic waste (collection, selective sorting and recycling), through awareness-raising campaigns aimed at villagers and schoolchildren.

Day 8: Rice fields, aeu palaces and silver jewelry making

Steps: Sidemen

You'll then take the schoolchildren's path through the rice fields of the famous Tirtagangga site and the eastern countryside, taking the opportunity to visit the "Water Palace". Then it's time to get lost on the back roads, taking in the countryside and villages typical of the region. You'll then reach a viewpoint offering superb panoramic views of rice paddies and the Agung volcano. You'll then reach the Sidemen region and its splendid rice paddies, where you can meet local silver craftsmen and make your own jewelry in a traditional workshop.

Day 9: Rice paddies and white sandy beaches

Steps: Candidasa, Sidemen

If you prefer, you can also spend part of the day by the sea, near a small village half an hour away by car, on one of Bali's prettiest white-sand coves, hidden behind a hill and crossed by a winding footpath. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a village of distinctive architecture, still inhabited by a community descended from the pre-Hindu Balinese, the "Bali Aga", as well as the former courthouse of the regional capital, Klungkung, and its famous painted ceilings.

Day 10: Climb the iconic Batur volcano

Steps: Ubud

Early in the morning, departure for the Mount Batur caldera (approx. 1h drive). You'll reach the summit at sunrise to take full advantage of this sensational view. On a clear day, you can see the coast of Java to the west and Lombok's Mount Rinjani to the east. Allow approximately 1h30 to 2h for the ascent, then 2h30 for a walk along the crater lips and the descent.

Then, in the afternoon, you'll cross the wood crafting region, before reaching Ubud, an essential stopover where you'll enjoy a well-deserved rest around your hotel's swimming pool.

Day 11: Ubud - Bali's cultural and spiritual center

Steps: Ubud

From here, you can explore the surrounding rice fields and villages by car, on foot or by bike, and enjoy the charm of Balinese culture: numerous cultural sites, markets, museums and art galleries... As usual, your guide will advise you on the best things to see and do, according to your tastes. During this stage, you'll attend a Balinese Legong or Barang dance performance (included in the price). We can also recommend an excellent spa, and it's also in the Ubud area that you'll find the widest choice of quality handicrafts.

Day 12: Discover Bali's most beautiful beaches

Steps: Sanur

In the morning, departure for the south of the island with a visit to the Jimbaran fish market, followed by a tour of the Bukit peninsula and its many coves and surf spots. The most touristy and accessible are Balangan, Bingin, Padang Padang and Uluwatu, where you can enjoy a meal while watching the surfers. But if you're looking for more peace and quiet, your guide will take you to some pretty secret beaches that are still deserted!

At the end of the day, you'll make your way to your last hotel right on the beach in Sanur Bay for a peaceful end to your stay, where tourist activities and local life blend perfectly!

Day 13: Farniente and/or manta ray encounters!

Steps: Sanur

This day, you can relax at your hotel on Sanur's bathing beach, or head off to see the fascinating manta rays off Nusa Penida(optional).

Day 14: Departure for the airport

This day, you'll still have time to enjoy your hotel, take a last swim, do some sightseeing or shopping, then transfer to Denpasar airport for your return flight.
