Day 1: Cusco - Sacred Valley

Steps: Cusco


Welcome to Cusco!

Your guide will meet you directly at the airport and will drive you to your first accommodation in the Sacred Valley.

in the program of this first day, the meeting of the emblematic animal of Peru: the llama as well as its cousins the alpaca and the vicuña.

You will discover then during a walk the cultures in terrace and channels of irrigations vestiges of the Inca time which are always used nowadays.


Day 2: Maras - Moray

Steps: Maras, Moray

Direction the salt flats of Maras and its terraces perched at more than 3000m of altitude where you will learn the process of exploitation of the natural salt.

Then you will go to Moray and its impressive circular terraces used by the Incas, as an experimental agricultural center.

At midday, you will make a stop to picnic in front of one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Andes.

The rest of the afternoon will be dedicated to the visit of the typical village of Chinchero known for its high quality weavings.

Day 3: Pisaq - Ollantaybambo

Steps: Písaq, Ollantaytambo

During this third day, you will reach the archaeological site of Pisaq, famous Inca agricultural city with impressive terraces.

Then we invite you to know the market of Pisaq, famous for its quality crafts.

In the afternoon we will visit the imposing city of Ollantaytambo, important place of commercial exchanges between the Amazon and the Andes.


Day 4: Machu Picchu - Vallée tropical

Steps: Machu Picchu

Very early in the morning, board the train, then the bus to reach the city of Machu Picchu.

Explore one of the new seven wonders of the world through the stories and historical knowledge of your guide.

On the way back, we invite you in the Inca way, to relax in the lime baths of Santa Teresa; a unique moment of relaxation in an exceptional setting.


Day 5: Tropical valley

Steps: Quillabamba

Roast your own coffee or cocoa for your breakfast! This is the atypical experience that awaits you at your host's house!

Stroll through the plantations with the farmers. They will make you discover the cocoa trees, the coffee trees, the banana trees or the coca plant.

The rest of the day will be dedicated to the visit of a tea plantation and factory in order to discover its transformation process.

Return to the sacred valley in the afternoon.


Day 6: Cusco: the navel of the world

Steps: Cusco

In the morning, direction the archaeological park of Sacsayhuamann, where an impregnable sight on the city awaits you.

The afternoon will be dedicated to the visit of the Koricancha temple as well as the cathedral; one of the most important of the colonial art.


Day 7: Cusco

We invite you to discover the city of Cusco on foot!

A nice walk through the historical districts of the city; the San Blas district or the 12 angles stone are waiting for you.

We will visit the museum of the history which traces the life of Cusco since the prehistoric time.

To finish, we will go to the central market of the city! Colors and scents guaranteed!


Day 8: Cusco - Amantani

This day is dedicated to your transfer by bus from Cusco to the legendary Lake Titicaca on board a comfortable bus (10 hours trip).

During your trip we will make several stops to visit the chapel of Andahuaylilas, the temple of the god Wiracocha, the Raya Pass and the visit of the museum of the pre-Inca Pukara culture.

The trip will be done on board a comfortable bus and a private car.


Day 9: Capachica - Amantani

Steps: Isla Amantani

Board the boat to head to Amantani Island.

Begin the climb to the top of the island, and visit the temple of Pasha Tata and Pasha Mama.

In the evening, we propose to attend a ceremony, offering to the Mother Earth, accompanied by a shaman.


Day 10: Amantani - Taquile - Puno

Steps: Puno, Isla Taquile

You will leave for a walk through the picturesque island of Taquile, it is an opportunity to recharge and be in connection with nature.

At noon, we will have lunch at the restaurant of one of the families of the island.

We will then head to the floating islands of Uros to make a stop before reaching Puno.


Day 11: Cabanaconde

Your tour continues to Chivay, where along the way we will take time to observe the landscapes dotted with lakes, volcanoes and spectacular valleys.

in the afternoon you will continue your journey to the village of Cabanaconde.

We will make a stop at the hot baths of Calera before arriving at your hotel.


Day 12: Cabaconde - Arequipa

Get ready to witness the impressive flight of the Condor over the Colca Canyon! A fascinating observation of which you will keep an imperishable memory!

Take the road back to Arequipa.


Day 13: Arequipa

Arequipa!

Colonial city with white houses, it is surrounded by three volcanoes, including the famous Misti which rises to more than 5822m!

We will visit the city as well as the convent of Santa Catalina declared the most beautiful religious building of Peru registered in the UNESCO heritage.
