Day 1: Arrival in Panama

Steps: Ciudad De Panamá

Pick-up at Tocumen International Airport in Panamá City. Private transfer to hotel. End of the day at leisure in the Panamanian capital.

Day 2: A stroll through the city

Steps: Ciudad De Panamá

Free day to wander around the Panamanian capital. For history buffs, we suggest a visit to the remains of Panamá La Vieja, the country's first capital before it was destroyed by the famous pirate Henry Morgan.

Day 3: Direction Portobelo

Steps: Esclusas De Gatún, Fuerte San Lorenzo

Early morning departure for Corozal station. Travel between canal and jungle on the trans-isthmian train to Colón, on the Atlantic coast. Visit the Gatún locks, then San Lorenzo Castle, a former pirate hideout at the mouth of the Chagres River.

Day 4: Portobelo remains

Steps: Portobelo

After a morning on the beach, you can visit the remains of the Forts de Santiago and San Jeronimo, theChurch of San Felipe housing the Cristo Nazareno and the Royal Customs building. Discover Portobelo, a quiet little town with UNESCO World Heritage ruins.

Day 5: An emotional day in the village of Embera

Steps: Emberá Querá

Departure for a day dedicated to meeting the Embera Amerindians. Drive to the banks of the Río Chagres, or the Río Gatún a little further on, from where you'll take a motorized pirogue to one of the villages of the Embera community. On the other side of the river, you'll be greeted by the cacique (spiritual leader) and the village children.

Day 6: Navigation on the Panama Canal and Lake Gatun

A day in the heart of the Panama Canal and Lake Gatún. Along the way, you'll explore the lush tropical flora and fauna, and observe many of the animals that make this area their home (toucans, crocodiles, monkeys, sloths...).

Day 7: The archipelago of 365 islands.

Drive to Garti, bound for the San Blas Archipelago in the Caribbean Sea.

Day 8: Beach and hammock

Relax on the white sandy beaches in the comfort of a hammock. Escape for a few hours to a deserted islet or meet the Gunas Indians.

Day 9: Exploring the seabed

Explore the coral and seabed with a mask and snorkel, learn the ancestral art of molas, or even navigate through mangroves and tropical vegetation..

Day 10: End of stay.

In the morning, return to Panamá City and end of stay.
