In the late morning, you'll take a private excursion to discover the famous Panama Canal and spot wildlife on a magnificent boat trip and hike on Lake Gatún (with the chance to see howler and capuchin monkeys, sloths, toucans and other birds, crocodiles and turtles).

An artificial lake created some 100 years ago to build the canal, in which nature and animals have regained their rights.

Drop-off after your tour directly at the Gamboa Rainforest Hotel, where you will stay for 2 nights.

Afternoon at leisure in the Gamboa National Park surrounding your hotel: walks, waterfalls, sloth sanctuary..

Your driver-guide will pick you up to spend the day in one of the Embera villages, indigenous peoples preserved for centuries living in their own territories semi-independent of government.

On the program: swimming in a waterfall and the river that surrounds the village, and aday of sharing culture and natural medicine.

Return mid-afternoon.

You'll be picked up by your driver in the early morning, then off to the jungle and the Caribbean.

You'll discover the north Caribbean coast, famous for the historic ruins of Portobelo, but little-known for the beaches, coves and jungles of Chagres.

Animals (monkeys, sloths, toucans...) are a common sight, especially in the homes of your hosts.

4 Nights at Hotel Vista Caribe 3*.

On this first full day, set off to explore the surrounding area, where you can stroll on foot between the jungle and the sea.

And if you like, you can rent a kayak or paddle and head out onto the water in the late afternoon to watch the sunset in peace and quiet.

Why not take a day off today?

Head to the deserted beaches for a snorkeling and lounging session.

On the agenda: swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and more :)

And if you're a scuba enthusiast, rent some diving equipment and set off to observe the magnificent seabed.

Why not take a trip to Isla Mamey or Isla Grande? Numerous boats are available to take you to the islands.

If you feel like it, you can also embark on a boat tour that will take you around the islands and leave you for a while on Isla Mamey, where you can take a stroll, go snorkeling...

You'll be transferred to Valle de Anton in the early morning, after taking the return boat to the port.

Discover one of the mountains offering a breathtaking green valley.

The Valle de Anton offers many local activities and discoveries, including :

Waterfalls and trekking, bicycles - trekking entrance between 5 and 10 usd pp

Succumb to the many hikes available and discover the waterfalls along the way

Ps: don't miss the famous "India Dornida" hike!

And for the more sporty, you can also rent bikes and set off on a trek.

If yesterday was too intense, take the opportunity to visit the butterfly museum, serpentarium...

Or visit the thermal waters of Valle de Anton: relaxation guaranteed!

Otherwise, we're sure you'll find plenty of trails to explore :)

For the bravest among you, wake up at dawn to watch the sunrise in the heights.

You'll be transferred to Santa Clara in the late morning. Journey time: approx. 45 minutes

In the afternoon, we recommend horseback riding or a fishing session.

2 Nights at Hotel Casa Mojito 3*

Why not take a tour of the pineapple and other tropical fruit fincas, where you can have lunch if you wish?

Afterwards, we suggest a trip to the magnificent canyons not far from your hotel.

In the early morning, you can go surfing or simply take a dip on the long stretches of beach.

If you're looking for a place to cool off in the water, skip it, as the water is usually warm.

Free day in town: in the colonial center, museums, shopping, etc.

Transfer to Tocumen at the end of the day: approx. 30 minutes

You'll have a late check-out room until 5 p.m., so you can shower before your flight.
