Day 1: His Illetes and Es Pujols

Steps: La Savina, Platja De Ses Illetes, Es Pujols, Platja De Llevant

Arrival at the port of La Savina. Rent your car, car, bike or scooter at one of the many harbour owners, the Natural Park of Ses Salines. From the exit of the city you will pass between the sea (left) and the salt lake Estany Pudent. After 3 km, take the small road on the left which leads to Es Pujols, the island's most tourist locality. Enjoy its fine sandy sand and translucent turquoise waters. In the evening, stroll through the hippie market that settles on the promenade. Dinner in one of the good addresses of Es Pujols.

Day 2: Estany Pudent and S' Espalmador

Steps: La Savina, Platja De Ses Illetes, Sant Francesc Xavier

If not already done, rent a bicycle and navigate the "Green Road" that runs along the Estany Pudent. Depending on the season, you can observe all kinds of birds! And maybe even pink flamingos. This is one of the most pleasant and peaceful walks to make by bike. Visit the saltworks, north of Estany Pudent and go down to Estany des Peix.

Day 3: Es Caló and Ses Platgetes

Steps: Sant Francesc Xavier, Es Caló De Sant Agustí, Sant Ferran De Ses Roques, El Pilar De La Mola

Breakfast in Sant Francesc. Visit of the church and quick passage through the salle d'expositionadjoining church and themusée ethnologique. Then take the "green path" that connects Sant Francesc to La Mola (preferably by bike). Discovery of the rural landscape of Formentera. Just before arriving in Es Caló, visit the Castellum de Can Blai, a vestige of Roman domination. Then arrive in Es Caló de Sant Agustí, a picturesque fishing village where you can observe one of the most beautiful examples of squadrons (traditional landing stages). Lunch in one of Es Caló's traditional restaurants. Afternoon relaxing on the beach of Ses Platgetes.

Day 4: Cova Foradada and Cala Saona

Steps: Cala Saona, El Pilar De La Mola, Cap De Barbaria

Breakfast in Sant Francesc. Stroll through the many shops in the village. Visit of the Cape of Barbaria. Passage through the Cova cova, a natural cave "hidden" to the right of the lighthouse. Spectacular sea view from the cliffs. Go up to Cala Saona. Picnic on the beach or lunch in one of the nearby restaurants. Snorkeling near the cliffs bordering the cala. Sunset on Cala Saona, not forgetting to take a mojito in one of the best chiringuitos on the island, perched on the cliff! Dinner in Sant Francesc.

Day 5: Sant Ferran, Cala en Baster and Migjorn

Steps: Platja De Migjorn, Sant Ferran De Ses Roques, Es Mal Pas, Es Ca Marí, Cala En Baster

Visit of of Cala in Baster for a snorkeling session. Then go down to Es Mal Pas or the seabed of Es Mal Pas with Masque and snorkeling. Return to Sant Ferran. In the evening, take a drink in the mythical Fonda Pepe, former Bob Dylan's former HQ. Dinner in the village. The village square is animated on the summer evenings, it is an excellent place to spend the evening.

Day 6: Es Ram and Platja des Arenals

Steps: Es Arenals, Es Caló De Sant Agustí, Es Ram

Visit of Es Ram, on the south coast of the island. Hiking on a cliffside to Es Caló des Mort, a heavenly cove of fine sand lined with translucent water. Spectacular landscapes along the coast. Lunch without pretension in the chiringuito of the Platja des Copinar. Afternoon idleness and stroll to the Platja des Arenals. In the evening, head for the Blue Bar restaurant on Platja Migjorn, a must on the island: Alien show and DJ sets facing the sea, mojito in hand.
