How to get there - Baracoa

Arrival in Havana

Eglise de Jesus de Miramar, La Havane.

Steps: Baracoa

Once you've left your luggage at your hotel or casa particular, head for the Malecón for a sunset stroll to soak up Havana's unique atmosphere, so sensual at dusk. We'll continue with a mojito tasting in a trendy bar in Vedado, before choosing one of the neighborhood's excellent restaurants for dinner. A good night's rest will then be most welcome!

Havana

Vallée de Vinales dans la province Pinar del Rio.

Steps: La Havane

We'll start the day with a visit to Habana Vieja: discover the old historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stroll through the picturesque cobbled streets, visit the Baroque palaces, museums and the unmissable monumental squares of Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas and Plaza de la Catedral. Lunch can be arranged at the latter, in a superb historic setting. In the afternoon, head for the Plaza de la Revolución to take some photos of this mythical square, followed by a visit to the Museum of the Revolution.

At the end of the day, enjoy a moment of relaxation on the terrace of a casa particular to admire the play of light on the sublime mountains at dusk.

A day's ride, on horseback or on foot, through Viñales Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its famous mogotes, immense rounded limestone hills covered with lush vegetation. Places of interest : VALLE DE VIÑALES

Departure for Trinidad

Scène de vie à Trinidad.

Steps: Trinidad

If we stayed in Viñales, much of the day will be spent on transportation to Trinidad, against a half-day road from Havana. We will therefore be devoting the time remaining in the afternoon and in the evening to take its brands in the best preserved colonial town in the country, full of charm as the sun rises.

Trinidad and Tobago

Steps: Valle De Los Ingenios

After a good breakfast in the picturesque centre of Trinidad with its colourful facades, we will take the road to the Valley of the Ingenios. This vast area, located 30 minutes east of Trinidad, was the focus of Cuban sugar production in the 19th century. You can ride through the valley on horseback, through the ruins of more than 70 sugar factories. In the afternoon, head for the Playa Ancón, where you will cross the impressive Torre Manaca, a 45-metre high former slave watchtower.
