Day 1: At the gates of Makgadikgadi
Steps: Nxai Et Makgadikgadi Pans National Park
Departure from Maun. Overnight in a camp on the banks of the Boteti River, at the gateway to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Discovery of its fauna and flora.
Day 2: Pans National Park and Baines Baobabs
Steps: Nxai Et Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Nata, Gweta, Nxai Pans Et Baines Baobabs
Baines Baobabs and Nxai Pans National Park. The famous Baines Baobab site is located not far from the Maun-Nata road and the small Nxai Pan reserve can be visited in one day. Overnight camping on site or in Gweta.
Day 3: Exceptional site of Lekhubu
Steps: Nata, Lekhubu Island
Dry season: Excursion to Lekhubu Island. This site is absolutely exceptional. You must enjoy at least one sunset and one sunrise. Rainy season: Nata and its Bird Sanctuary. In the southern summer, the Bird Sanctuary welcomes hundreds of birds including flamingos and white pelicans
