This rather unique establishment is the latest project of serial entrepreneur Glenn Spicker, a troublemaker on the Prague gastronomic scene since 1992, with creations such as U Malého Glena and Bohemia Bagel to his credit. He called on chef Christian Dolias, who has made a name for himself on the Mexican cuisine scene in California and Las Vegas.

An original concept at the crossroads of fishmonger, bar and seaside restaurant. Chalkboards display the price of each fish or shellfish according to the day's arrivals, and the chef's inspired recipes. Make your choice and take a seat at the few communal wooden tables in the trendy, relaxed atmosphere of the place while you wait for your freshest fish to be served to you. Undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in Prague, Lal Qila is nestled in a basement cellar on a quiet little street in Vinohrady, opposite the equally recommendable Kaaba café. We regret eating in the basement, but considering the quality of the restaurant, we don't hesitate! Amazing, in the heart of Prague, not necessarily known for its large Indian community, to find the flavours and smells of Indian spices. The service is equally relaxed and jovial. A very nice place to find an alternative to Czech food.
