For the 1 st, 8 st, 15 th, 22nd and 29 th of September and 6 th of October 2012, the Autumn Flavours offer appointments to Restaurateurs and Facim. Local dishes, yesterday's cuisine or revisited today to get out of the false ideas of Savoyard cuisine.

At the beginning of August, during a whole weekend, folklore and traditions are organized around wood and lumbering. This year, the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church in Valloire houses the work of three artists from very different worlds, but linked by "Les Mains". This is the sculptor Philippe Desloubières, known for his metal sculptures with aerial, generous and rounded shapes... The outer part, in front of the church, houses his Corten steel sculpture impregnated with the plant world. Serena Carone, whose works are rooted in the present time and often tinged with a little cynicism, but also poetry... She who likes to work with her hands... has a space inside the church, where she offers a part of her cabinet of curiosities, including a woman who cries, another who dreams softly. Nathalie Petit, visual artist who works the earth with her sensitive hands... a practitioner of self-awareness... with the visual and sound accompaniment of the Chinese pianist Yuga Wang with aerial and precise hands.

For 82e edition, from September 11th to September 20th, 2010, the exhibition of Savoy is an exhibition around Japan of yesterday and today. Traditions, new technologies, manga will be honoured in the lobby and Conventions. The fair, it is also the economic event at the start of the. More than 400 exhibitors on 40,000 m2 of exhibitions. Pool with furniture, jewellery, gardening, gourmet products, you will find all fair of Savoy. From August 11 to 13, Lez'Arts en Scènes takes over Aillon-le-Jeune for a festival packed with shows of all kinds. On the program: music, circus, magic, clowns, stilt-walkers, storytelling and street theater to entertain young and old in the village streets. On Friday, the festival takes place in the gardens of the Chartreuse d'Aillon. On Sunday, 5 companies stroll through the village. There will also be entertainment on the soccer pitch, with bouncy castles and giant wooden games, as well as a storytelling walk with Bernard Martin.

Laughing at the programme at the Cave Bear Museum: the Swiss collective Plonk & Replonk, known for its hilarious hijackings of old photographs and postcards, has seized it. Thirty-five images are on display and videos with the voice of Antoine de Caunes are presented in free access. But more than that, about ten objects from the museum were hijacked. The exhibition appeals to both children and adults: bear trap transformed into Roger Federer's tennis racket, cave toothbrush to keep breath fresh during the mating season - illustrating how long the battle between dominant male and elegant male has lasted for millennia! -The bald bear skull of the caves would attest that baldness is the probable cause of the extinction of the species... Also noteworthy on the agenda: 4-5 July, prehistoric festival at the Musée de l'Ours des cavernes, with special activities.

With its "Children's Village", Côté Parents also knows how to entertain the youngest visitors by involving them in fun and creative activities.

Saint-Jeoire-Prieure, a small town in the Rhône-Alpes region, is home to a trade fair called Fil du Sillon. This event showcases the passion for vinyl and offers enthusiasts a selection of over 2,500 record references for sale. You can also find Vinyle Roller throughout the year at other sales outlets in Chambéry, Aix-les-Bains, Grenoble, Bourg-en-Bresse, Annecy and throughout the Rhône-Alpes region.
