LIONNETON

Patisserie
5/5
1 review

It's the kingdom of chocolate and pogne! An address of excellence that delights sweet tooths. It was in 1891 that Jean-Pierre Lionneton opened the first Lionneton bakery in Ardèche. The company has continued to exist without ever renouncing its origins and its traditional, artisanal pastry, chocolate and bakery work. The range of chocolates and pastries is an enchantment for the palate as well as for the eyes. The pogne de Romans is among the best in the appellation area and the bread menu is just as good. More than one reason to stop by.

ESCOBAR

Confectionery

An exceptional house that now has three addresses in Montélimar, in the city centre and on the outskirts. Here you can find good cakes, bread, chocolate, and of course nougat: from traditional recipes to more daring creations. During the Christmas holidays, you can even order the basket of the 13 Christmas desserts. The whole is run by a pastry chef-chocolate maker-confectioner awarded a diploma of Best Worker in France. The plus: possibility to order online. Good to know: the boutique route de Marseille is open 7 days a week.

BOULANGERIE LA FABRIQUE

Patisserie
5/5
1 review

Beautiful brick architecture, bay windows and an arbour terrace for this Maison Guillet store, run by Lou and César Guillet (3rd generation). Committed to the bakery tradition, La Fabrique offers long opening hours, top-of-the-range pastries, fresh viennoiseries and a savoury range of quality snacks. The bread is often organic, always made with natural sourdough and local flours, and the result of slow kneading and long fermentation. And the 3 bars of chocolate in the pain au chocolat are the hallmark of this gourmet house!

PATISSERIE CHALENCON

Patisserie

A renowned patissier-chocolatier-glacier and a gourmet address well worth a visit. In 2021, Franck Broyer gave way to one of his employees, who has successfully taken over the business, respecting the original quality. The store window is a real eye-opener. Individual cakes, entremets to share, chocolates, macaroons, order cakes... One thing's for sure: you won't leave without your selection of gourmet treats. We always recommend this fine patisserie with the same conviction.

VANIG ET DÉLICES

Patisserie

A collection of pure butter sweet cookies and pure olive oil savory crackers with seeds, 100% organic and handcrafted, using mostly local ingredients: that's the commitment of this young gourmet brand that set up shop in Grane, in the Crestois region. Since then, we've been enjoying the crunchy little squares as aperitifs, with pumpkin or black cumin seeds, chocolate and sunflower seeds, lemon and poppy, lavender and many other flavors. Shortbread can be eaten in one bite, and so can crackers!

PASCALIS

Patisserie
4/5
1 review

This is one of 4 Pascalis addresses specializing in Romans pogne. The company has been in existence since 1892. It is also present in Romans, as it should be, and in Bourg-de-Péage (new address in Chanas-Corson). A house that knows how to handle orange blossom and praline, butter and marshmallow. Sweet versions of the great local traditions, such as the pogne de Romans and the suisse de Valence, a famous shortbread available in different sizes, as well as the saint-genix and the craqueline, are the stars here. On-site: a pogne museum (free).
