Classified Room Art and Trial. With a capacity of 314 seats, with a 9-metre base screen and a digital DTH set, Max Linder cinema offers more than 150 films per year, in the context of programming any public, for which children are not excluded since they represent more than 25% of the attendance.

Created in 1983, this international mime arts festival takes place every year in the city of Périgueux. For 5 days in early July, it takes place in the streets, public gardens and several of the city's venues. Its rich program, with shows for all audiences, features mime, street arts, object theater, circus, puppetry, body performances and more... Numerous workshops, courses and masterclasses are also offered to complement these events and introduce audiences to these artistic practices.

At the heart of the CGR Cinéma, the ICE (Immersive Cinema Experience) room stands out for its absolute comfort: spacious seats combined with exceptional audiovisual quality. The complex is also home to nine other theaters, each offering a varied selection of films. To enhance the experience, a confectionery section and a bar area are available, while a dedicated area allows children to celebrate their birthdays. The Ciné Cinéma association enriches the local film scene with demanding programming, punctuated by debates.

Piano, guitar, double vocals and percussion: Alice and Morgane, who make up the duo Maniolya, know how to set the mood in a gentle, original way. Professionally trained and accustomed to the stage, they stroll down the sunny aisles of pop/folk, a repertoire they master perfectly and brighten up with their personal creativity. Keep an eye out for their latest news, as Maniolya (whom you can contact for private events) regularly performs concerts at various venues in the Dordogne, in spring and summer.

For a week, Montignac vibrates to the rhythm of music and folklore from around the world. Shows and concerts are on the program, as are craft markets and exhibitions, notably in the Salle Jean Macé, which becomes a veritable treasure trove throughout the summer. Since 1981, groups and troupes from all over the world have been sharing their heritage at Montignac, along with some of the biggest names in contemporary music. In 2024, reggae star Yaniss Odua opens the festival.

A member of the very active Ciné Passion en Périgord network since 1986, Le Vox cinema is a Montignac institution. Eric, Franck and Marie Hélène keep this eclectic, cutting-edge cinema alive all year round. They leave no audience out with their selection, which includes films in VO, blockbusters and children's films, as well as mini-festivals, notably dedicated to short films, theme evenings and meetings. More than just a cinema, it's a place for cultural mediation and discovery.

The must-see Lébérou in Périgord Noir! This funny creature, not unlike the werewolf, won't bite you throughout this nomadic festival held in November. Plazac, Coly, Tamniès, Aubas, Auriac, Marquay and several other emblematic villages host a show throughout this month of tales, readings, music and stage productions. Some events are particularly suitable for young audiences, so don't hesitate to ask beforehand and take advantage of the passes available.

Installed in an old garage, this establishment is resolutely turned towards the plate, the good mood and the music. The plate with dishes elaborated by Hélène and Sylvain with fresh and local products, meats, mussels and vegetarian menus. The good mood and the music with the proposed evenings: Thursday evening for a karaoke and Sunday evening for live concerts by music groups from all over France with various influences (pop, rock, blues, reggae, soul, jazz, swing and French song).

A poet, Sophie Haffner has self-published two books of poems, which she is happy to read at various poetry events in the Périgord region, as well as at public readings in various establishments. After years working in the publishing industry, she moved to Rouffignac, where she writes, edits and is a very active advocate for artists' rights in the region. A lover of human contact, she offers to sign her books at informal gatherings and markets.
