Airlines and services Abu Dhabi

With over 50 airlines serving more than a hundred destinations in sixty countries, this airport has been recognized by the World Airport Awards, with the distinction of "Best Airport in the Middle East" awarded more than once. It offers a five-star travel experience with traditional Emirati architecture in a high-end ambience. The new terminal opened in November 2023. Air France has just opened a route between Paris and Abu Dhabi.

Established in 2003, Etihad Airways is the national airline of the Emirates, connecting nearly 112 airports, including a daily non-stop service between Paris and Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airways is renowned for its emphasis on safety and punctuality, and is regularly ranked among the top airlines. Economy class passengers can take the in-house shuttle to Al Aïn or Dubai free of charge. In business and first class, you'll be entitled to a limousine to downtown Abu Dhabi or another destination.

A 4 km long runway. The airport is currently served by only three airlines, with flights to India and Pakistan. It has restaurants and cafes, ATMs, a medical centre and duty-free. There is no car rental, but the agencies in town can deliver a vehicle to the airport. This site has taken on a special significance since the creation of a specialised aeronautical equipment and research area in 2011.

The bus service is very convenient to get to and from the airport, but the travel time is long. Stops in the city: Al Markaziyah East (Zayed 1st Street / Al Salam Street), Madinat Zayed (East Street / MZ Shopping center), Al Wahda Station (Bus Station / East Street). To get around, you can take one of the fourteen lines that operate all day long. Air-conditioned shelters are available. Very high security on board, modern and air-conditioned buses. It is also an opportunity to mingle with the workers.

Daily and daytime flights. Non-stop service to Abu Dhabi and more options if you fly via Amsterdam. For those who don't live in Paris, it's an advantage to use the French airline, as the Air France network makes it possible to link provincial towns to the capital without the headache of missed connections and without having to collect luggage during the transfer. Flight time is around 6 hours 45 minutes. Another advantage of a morning flight from Paris is that you won't arrive in Abu Dhabi too late, i.e. in the early evening.
