GARE ROUTIÈRE AL-AÏN

Bus and coach

Of the two options, we recommend taking the bus to Abu Dhabi from the Al Nahyan bus station. Tickets cannot be purchased in advance or on the bus, but at the bus station. All buses are modern, comfortable and have air conditioning. It is another way to discover the country. Once you arrive in Al Ain, you can still travel by bus. For senior citizens and people with disabilities, a 50% discount card is offered free of charge at the customer satisfaction centers.

GARE ROUTIÈRE INTERCITY

Bus and coach

It's a bit long, as the E100 bus takes nearly two hours and stops at four points between Satwa (in Dubai) and the bus station in central Abu Dhabi. The 101 bus leaves from Ibn Battuta Metro Station in Dubai, stopping at four stops and taking 90 minutes to reach Abu Dhabi. The service is reliable and regular on these comfortable, modern, air-conditioned buses. A friendly and different journey shoulder to shoulder with employees and migrant workers. The first few lines are reserved for women and children.

NATIONAL TAXIS

Taxi and VTC

Proudly stamped ISO9001 Veritas, the company has several hundred vehicles criss-crossing Abu Dhabi and Al Ain all day and night. Taxis can be picked up at the corner of the avenues or booked for an additional fee. The drivers are very discreet and sometimes not very familiar with the city map. So do not venture to give an "official" address like Sheikh Rashid Bin Saaed Street, he will not know it. As soon as he crosses the speed limit, the horn sounds. In other words, it goes straight!

AIR FRANCE-KLM

Airlines

Daily and daytime flights. Non-stop service to Abu Dhabi and more options if you fly via Amsterdam. For those who don't live in Paris, it's an advantage to use the French airline, as the Air France network makes it possible to link provincial towns to the capital without the headache of missed connections and without having to collect luggage during the transfer. Flight time is around 6 hours 45 minutes. Another advantage of a morning flight from Paris is that you won't arrive in Abu Dhabi too late, i.e. in the early evening.
