In the tourist offices of the region, you have surely had to cross many different documents concerning the Poles-Nature… little clearing. It should be noted that these Pôles-Nature (mark registered by the Charente-Maritime department) are protected natural sites. The «label» guarantees respect for a quality charter for which the General Council, the communities, the Littoral Conservatory and nature protection associations have committed themselves. On each site you will find a welcome from the public (at scheduled openings) and proposals for guided tours and outings discovered. These poles are divided into three themes: watch birds, go to adventure and discover know-how. Present throughout the territory, they represent an original way of addressing the specific characteristics of the territory, its heritage and heritage, its fauna and flora. The exit programme is available in the form of calendars in the tourist offices and the Espace Nature de Rochefort, as well as on the website of the General Council (www.charente-maritime.org). The theme "bird watching" includes the Maison du Fier (nature reserve of Lilleau des Niges), the nature reserve of the Yves Marsh and the marsh of Moëze, the hut of Less, the lagunage station and the marsh to the birds. The theme of the "Adventure" theme is the quarries of Crazannes, the nature pole of Vitrezay, the park of the estuary, the Farm for birds. The theme of the "know-how" theme is the house of the forest, the ecomuseum of the salt marsh, the salt harbour and the asinerie of the Baudet du Poitou.

Finally, from July 15 th to August 15 th, this is "the Summer of the funny" (10 children aged 6 to 12 years). On Tuesdays from 14 to 17 p. m., the heritage service team hosts the «fantastic modelling» workshop where it is about sculpture. On Wednesdays from 14 to 17 h, your children (from 4 years old) will lose in the labyrinth of the Garden of returns. On Thursdays from 14 to 16 h 30, the workshop «blason» will take them to make a coat like those worn by the real knights…

The Théâtre de la Coupe d'Or is a municipal theater located in downtown Rochefort, in the Charente-Maritime region of France. Built between 1766 and 1769 by architect Giovanni Antonio Berinzago, the building has been listed as a historic monument since 1969. The theater offers a varied program and also hosts the Tadam! circus festival.

For more than 10 years this association has signed a convention with the city of La Rochelle for the Attribution of the premises of Henri II house. The Intermondes Centre was able to welcome the first artists in residence from all over the world. More than 250 of them, from around fifty countries have succeeded in this Renaissance style here, the actors of artistic life iso - performer, teacher, amateur, intellectual or student - can confront their ideas, propose projects and even discover new languages. Many artists attended the Henri II house. The partnerships with the University of La Rochelle, the General and Regional Council, the National Choreographic Centre allow a wide cultural offer: music, literary meetings, debates, theatres, photographs…
