The Charente-Maritime Federation for Fisheries is a federation that is very committed to protecting the fishing environment. On behalf of its 22 000 fishermen and 24 approved associations, it alerts us on the alarming state of the department's rivers and denounces the current water resource management. This department with various landscapes allows all types of fishing. Lecourbe Niortaise is a slow and deep water course for eels, white fish and predators. In the Centre, the River Charente is influenced by tides to Saint-Savinien. It is characterized by its carp, coconut and pike, but also a large number of mules from the sea and shad in May and June. Navigable up to Angoulême, the Charente allows to marry, with pleasure, fishing and walk with a boat. In the West, at the borders of the ocean, the Seudre and its canals, and the coastal marshes of Rochefort, Marenne and the Gironde estuary form a large fishing territory. In the south, Seugne is the natural jewel of Charente-Maritime, encouraging the hunt for itinerant pike. Finally, the Dronne is the kingdom of the Barbeau and the dowel.

Since 1992, the friendly fishermen of Antioch have been driving the port of Saint-Denis-d'Oléron, rich in a fishing team from all sides. Friendly outings are organized on specific themes based on fish at the moment: lures fishing, bream fishing, shark fishing, lean fishing. In oyster and bouchots parks, in the realm of surface lures! The fishery is then pulled away by handling soft lures or exploded jiggs at the boat's edge (vertical fishing), or by launching lightweight soft lures (fly fishing). In both cases it is possible to try bars… and lean.

About fifteen kilometers from the island of Oléron, the outdoor residence, Les Etangs Mina, two star campsite offers a special fisherman parkage in a natural setting where three bodies of water are at your disposal with many rich fish species: carp, trout, pike, roach, eel, pike etc ... You are limited to a maximum of 10 fish per line per day. An ideal parkage with family or friends. Just to rest between two recreational fishings at sea!
