This authentic English pub is one of the warmest places in the old town. The mahogany woodwork, the old mirrors and the bar, which is about twelve metres long, give it a hushed atmosphere. Its alcohol menu will delight lovers of imported beers and single malt scotch. Belgium looks good with a superb selection of private imports, ranging from Trappist beers to gueuzes. Serve with one of their famous homemade sausages or a grill, and you will quickly understand why this place is so popular.

A hall with character. Created in 1903, then abandoned in 1982 and restored in 1992, the architecture of the Capitole is remarkable. In the heart of the city, concerts, shows, plays, comedy, but also private events are organized there. The Capitol hosts shows such as the Elvis Experience, The Man in Black (A tribute to Johnny Cash), Motown Soul and many other renowned artists. Two restaurants (Il Teatro and BŌ Cuisine d'Asie) and a hotel (just over 100 units) on site, all completely renovated.

This bar in the Faubourg has a real surprise in store for those who venture into its lair. The glass roof and the charming terrace in the inner courtyard inspire more than one person (additional glass roof on the terrace to enjoy it in winter). They even make its reputation! But Le Sacrilège is also a program of shows and events of all kinds, a fine selection of Quebec spirits and snacks for the hungry, not to mention the chartreuse which is very popular here. A true institution!

This friendly bistro-brewery in the Saint-Roch district offers quality craft beers brewed according to traditional methods, as well as a gourmet menu made up mainly of local seasonal products. In fact, La Korrigane wishes to promote local and regional agri-food businesses, and more specifically, small artisanal producers. The company's mission also includes a cultural component (great program of activities and events) and a social component. To be discovered!

Le Deux22 is clearly one of the gourmet and festive hotspots of the Saint-Roch district, and we always spend at least one evening there on our trips to the Quebec capital. On the food front, the menu offers tasty Mexican specialties, which we like to accompany with a microbrewery beer, tequila, mezcal or mojito. On weekends, the place is popular for its gourmet breakfasts, which are served until 3pm. Bonus: DJ evenings and an indoor courtyard (covered and heated in winter).

Palais Royal, Théâtre des Familles, Théâtre Palais Royal, Cinéma de Paris, Cinéma Midi-Minuit, Les Folies de Paris... Many names and vocations have "brightened" this historic hall for decades. The Imperial Bell is now entirely devoted to the performing arts, whether it be music, comedy or even literary cabaret. Artists from Quebec, Canada and abroad take turns without a break. To have a drink or a bite to eat, you will find the District Saint-Joseph on site, with a small performance hall.

Québec City's new multi-purpose amphitheatre has the second-largest capacity of its kind in Quebec. It is the venue for major junior league field hockey games with the Quebec Remparts. When it comes to shows and concerts, a host of big names perform here. The Centre Vidéotron is located on the ExpoCité event site, which hosts numerous trade shows and fairs. The Grand Marché de Québec is located here, and is well worth a visit.

With its eyes riveted on the St. Lawrence and Île d'Orléans, this microbrewery is a first on the road between Quebec City and Charlevoix. On the slate, house beers and four-glass tasting palettes are available to maximize discoveries. A bistro menu is offered, ranging from nibbles to more substantial dishes such as tartes flambées, grilled sandwiches, cheese platters... A great home base in the Quebec City region!

The Grand Théâtre de Québec is made up of two halls, Louis-Fréchette and Octave-Crémazie, which host a wide variety of high-quality shows: dance, theater, music, opera and variety shows. Don't miss the huge mural by artist Jordi Bonet that welcomes audiences to the city's oldest theater. For a pre-show drink in a unique atmosphere, the Grand Théâtre has a bar service in its STUDIOTELUS (open on show nights - glasses allowed in the auditorium for most shows).

Located close to St. Roch's Church, this neighbourhood cafe offers two rooms. With more than twenty computers, video game lovers can play on the network. The Internet service is of course high speed. Internet outreach sessions and office automation are available on site. The managers are very friendly.

At nightfall, it mainly welcomes a regular clientele of young people who work in restaurants in and around Petit Champlain. In the afternoon, it is mainly tourists who come to enjoy the terrace of this very popular district. The inside of the bar, two large circular vaults, is worth a visit on its own. To accompany the fine selection of Quebec and imported beers, European hot dogs, smoked meat sandwich, onion soup and other light meals are served until early evening.

Théâtre Petit Champlain may be a small venue, but it's a cute one. At the entrance, a bar creates a pleasant, bright space, in harmony with the ambiance of the neighborhood (with a lovely terrace in season). The programming focuses on French-language chanson, with well-known and up-and-coming artists. Theater, variety shows, comedy and storytelling are also featured month by month. Honor the little reptiles dancing on the walls of this bar in Old Limoilou. We go to Bal du Lézard for its relaxed atmosphere, for the contagious smile, for the happy hours (great selection of craft beers and cocktails), the European hot dogs, the visual art exhibitions, the launches, the comedy nights, the musical shows of all kinds, the DJ nights and the whole local art scene that shines here. Maelstrøm became known for its cold brew coffee, also called cold brew, in concentrate or ready-to-drink, which can be served hot or cold. Its small headquarters, with a look that is both bobo and industrial, obviously serves this home-made product, which can even be found in cocktails. The menu also includes coffees, of course, as well as a few craft beers and a wide range of classic and creative cocktails. On the plate, delicious dishes, vegan or not, without forgetting the brunch which attracts a good number of followers.

If you feel like indulging in the famous afternoon tea ritual, this is the place to go! The Place Dufferin restaurant, located on the terrace of the same name, offers this fine gourmet experience in the best possible way. When you arrive, you'll be served a temptation of flavoured fruit. Then comes the ritual: Creamy Earl Grey, Golden Dragon Jasmine, Organic Oolong Goddess and several other delicious LOT 35 teas from Metropolitan Tea, accompanied by scones, traditional sandwiches, bites, pastries and mignardises. A must!

It's the little brother of Buvette Scott, still in the spirit of a friendly buvette, but with a few features that differentiate Sardines from its elder brother. Here, the emphasis is on craft beers, whether from Quebec or imported via a specialized agency (several Belgian lambics are worth a detour), not to mention a fine selection of wines. To accompany all this, there are a few nibbles that vary according to inspiration, such as assortments of artisanal charcuterie and cheeses, oysters and vitello tonneto.
