Castles to visit Aisne

This sober castle hides its game. With its 2 800 m ², it is one of the largest in the region. This castle was erected in the middle of the th century for Seillière company, which had just bought out the domain of Guise. He became the property of the Duke of Aumale in 1872 and remained in the family until 1980. It was here that the Earl of Paris, Henri d'Orléans, on July 5, 1908, grandfather of Jean-Carl-Pierre-Marie d'Orléans, considered by some as the dolphin of France. In 1986, the town of Nouvion acquired the castle and developed in the park a sports and leisure complex.
