A miniature harbor welcomes budding captains aboard miniature electric boats. They can choose to sail on a replica of a fishing boat or a Brittany Ferries liner, for a river trip on the Jaunay river, where there are only 5 of you on board. Easy piloting for the youngest thanks to a steering bar and a button for the speeds. In season, reservation is recommended. For a change, we also offer kayaks (for 1 to 5 people), pedal boats (for 2 to 6 people) and paddles for rent.

Three nautical bases organized on 3 sites: Fromentine, the Grande Côte, the Porteau. The different sailing areas of the sailing school of La Barre-de-Monts/Fromentine welcome people who practice nautical activities such as sailing (catamarans), sand yachting, kayaking. Its vast beaches open at low tide make it easy to practice sand yachting all year round, from 8 years old (like kayaking), alone or in pairs (two-seater sand yachting). Two other activities: kite flying and kite cart, which consists in pulling a kite from a sand yacht.

Nestled on the island of Noirmoutier, this new generation water sports center welcomes visitors in search of physical fitness, leisure and well-being. Within its walls, a 25 m swimming pool, a large bath dedicated to swimmers and learners. On the relaxation side, adults are invited to recharge their batteries in a sauna and a bubble bath, while the younger ones can enjoy the slide. And to extend the visit, aquatic activities are held every week with the aim of getting back into shape (aquagym, etc.).

Fancy a swim and a lazy day on the beach? You don't have to travel miles to get to the coast! At the southern end of the Mervent forest massif, the Espace de loisirs du lac de Chassenon is a must-see leisure and bathing site in the Sud-Vendée region. All year long, Manu and his team welcome you on the beach of Conches and the mythical spot of Bud to practice surfing and stand-up paddle. Children and beginners of all ages will discover the joys of surfing and learn the safety rules for the ocean and the respect of this environment. Experienced surfers can improve their skills at Bud (private lessons, video support...). Manusurf also organizes stays for minors at the surfcamp, a week of good humor and encounters punctuated by surfing lessons,...

The lake of La Guyonnière extends over 14 hectares. It has a shaded picnic area with tables and benches, games for children. Fishing lovers will have a great time! Canoeing, kayaking or small dinghy and stand-up paddle are available for hire. Hiking trails await walkers or cyclists who can rent bicycles on site. In season, other activities on reservation (from 10 people): archery, Archery Touch, orienteering games, blowpipe.

Located in a small village of the Marais Poitevin, between Maillezais and Damvix, the Embarcadère de l'Autize, offers boat rental, with or without a guide, whether you are alone, in family or in group. We advise you to take advantage of the guided tours in order to learn all about the secrets of the Marais Poitevin and of this territory more precisely. Admire this unique landscape, typical of the area, which has remained in its wild state. The other plus of this pier, it proposes a small restoration on the spot. So, don't miss the opportunity to have lunch on the waterfront, in this beautiful environment.

Julien offers kitesurfing lessons on 3 spots : Le Gois, Barbâtre, Fromentine. From discovery to improvement, in private or group lessons, with courses which, for the group lessons, take place over 4 hours, you are 4 maximum per course. On the program: discovery of the environment, safety rules, piloting the kite in shallow water, relaunching the kite, towed swimming, introduction to the weather, control of safety systems... Duration of private lessons : 2h30.

Kayak rental for 1 hour or more, on the river, the Jaunay, which leads to a lake. There are two bases for the practice of these leisure activities: the river and the lake. With friends, family (from 7 years old), at a bachelorette party, let yourself be guided along the water and enjoy the landscape, while doing an activity within everyone's reach. On the Lac du Jaunay, rent pedal boats with original shapes, or a kayak (1 or 2 places) and paddle for 1 person; and if you're a bunch of friends, there's also the XXL paddle!

This site is composed of a lake and a rural camping, with a bar-restaurant. Families can rent pedal boats for a family outing on the lake, and teenagers can try their hand at paddle boarding. And for fishing enthusiasts, the waters are full of fish, so you can indulge in this hobby-passion. The campsite has 16 bare pitches to pitch your tent, caravan or camper, as well as 10 chalets and 4 luxury safari tents.

Here you can discover the Breton marshland in a different way and in direct contact with this unique natural space: by canoe or stand-up paddle. Around the Porteau lock, a classified site, choose your activity and go for a free hike in the marsh. Equipped with a road book, you will discover the fauna and flora of the marsh in a new way. In 3 and 4-seater canoes for families, in single or two-seater kayaks, or for the more sporty, in paddle, you will glide quietly between the reeds and enjoy the panorama.

Yoann Becker founded his kitesurfing school in the town where he grew up. This sailing enthusiast, who has dabbled in all types of craft (catamaran, surfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle, cruising), and who has also worked in many kitesurfing schools outside France, will give you the best possible introduction to kitesurfing or wingfoil, whether you're looking for a discovery, initiation or improvement course, private lessons or autonomy for those who are more experienced in these leisure activities.

If you want to learn water sports, the Ocean Players Sailing School is on the beach of Le Bouil. Qualified instructors will teach you the rudiments of sailing through introductory or advanced courses, on different supports: windsurfing, catamaran for children and adults, and private foiling lessons. For those who are experienced in these exercises, we also offer equipment rental: catamaran, windsurfing, but also kayak and paddle. And also yoga classes. The equipment is of high quality and is changed every 3 years.

From the port of La Faute-sur-Mer, the Kitesurf Vendée school offers to discover Kitesurfing and Wingfoil, to beginners as well as to experienced kitesurfers, all this in an exceptional natural setting, since the practice of these water sports is done on the site of the Pointe d'Arçay, which is located in the south of the peninsula of La Faute-sur-Mer giving in front of the island of Ré. The practice can be taught all year long. The lessons are given by a qualified instructor with a maximum of 4 people per lesson, and the learning is done in shallow water.

In the heart of the Brem-sur-Mer marshes, Octosup proposes to travel through the marsh in stand-up paddle and Hawaiian canoe. Departures are from La Cabane, a great outdoor bar overlooking an arm of the marsh. The place is magical enough to discover the marsh at the rhythm of the paddle. It is quiet and calm, and can be practiced with friends or family with children, from 7 years old. There is little parking on this popular site, so plan to reserve it carefully and park in the small roads around the base.

This surfing school, whose first address was created in La Tranche-sur-Mer, settles from Easter to All Saints' Day on the Vieilles beach. Passionate about surfing, the teacher will share the techniques and values of this sport with all those who wish to learn or improve their skills. The lessons are open from 6 years old, with an awareness of the marine environment before the discovery of the waves, their functioning and the learning of techniques in alternation. With a surface area of 177 ha, this lake offers a beach with swimming, a water slide and a water sports club. You can also rent rowing boats and pedal boats at the Cabanon, and there are good fishing spots for carp on 9.5 km of shoreline. To know the authorized fishing spots, contact the Fishing Federation. The area around the lake also offers hiking and mountain bike trails. You can also go water skiing (from 7 years old), to which you have to add the rental of the wakeboard (or wakeskate), and the wetsuit.

Of all the Vendée's seabeds, those of the wild coast are the most diversified and interesting, and Sub'Evasion is a club of competent enthusiasts. You will dive on different marine sites. Baptism, exploration, initiation, passing of certificates, training course on week-ends. Diving being a regulated sport, it is better to take all the information before. This company also offers training for the boat license, because it is necessary for motor boats of more than 6hp and for any day/night navigation up to 6 nautical miles from a shelter.

This professional offers single or two-seater kayak rental for 1 hour or half a day, or a 1.5 hour accompanied trip. The rental point is located on the beach of Les Vieilles or Marais Salé depending on the weather. This French school of Caval Kayak also offers training courses, for children and adults, courses supervised by qualified instructors. The meeting point is at the Marais Salé and at the beach of the Vieilles. Another original feature is that you can also learn to navigate in a dugout canoe, in groups of 5 maximum and for a duration of 1h30 to 2h.

Located in Baie de la Pipe, 10 minutes from the port, the Ile d'Yeu sailing school is ideally situated on the beach. A wide choice of courses and services for all ages, supervised by qualified instructors. From catamaran to kayak, windsurfing to Hobie Cat and stand-up paddle. And a new discipline, offered as a course or by the session: wingfoil! There are also courses for children and a chance to discover the marine environment with Jardin des Mers.

Created in 2004, the school is on the beach of the sailing school in Fromentine. All the courses take place after a transport in semi-rigid on benches of immersed sands. The school provides inflatable wings (4 lines, from 5 to 14 m²), twin tips floats for beginners or advanced learners, wetsuits, inflatable jackets, helmets, harnesses. The courses take place over 4 hours per day. Group lessons or private lessons, over 1, 2 or 3 days. The latter take place from a boat, in deep or shallow water.

This is the^1st sand yachting center in the Sud-Vendée. It offers an introduction to sand yachting, training courses and, for more experienced enthusiasts, excursions and more sporting activities. Discover the exceptional site of the Pointe d'Arçay on a sand yacht. The activity takes place on the beach at La Faute-sur-Mer, with a 12 km zone in winter starting from Plage des Bélugas, and an 800 m zone in July and August between Plage de la Grande Casse and Plage Grand Plage. Program: 3-hour hike. Accessible to beginners and those aged 12 and over.

The best way to discover the Venise Verte is to rent a river boat to be close to nature and enjoy the unique landscape of the green lentils covering the étiers. The pier "La grenouille Bleue" welcomes you for a boat trip (with or without a guide), canoeing or pedal boat in the conches, canals and gullies starting from the port of Damvix. Take a break on the shaded terrace at the water's edge and have a snack on the spot.

At the foot of La Maison du Marais and the guinguette Le Débar'c, take a seat in one of the boats on the so-called dry part of the Marais Poitevin. Take the time to observe the characteristic fauna and flora of the marsh. On the way, you will learn to recognize the iris and the pyramidal orchid, and you will see swans, storks, herons and coypu... You will learn more thanks to the information panels set up on this new 3 kilometers long route.

Enjoy jet-skiing on a 33-hectare site with a lake, sandy beach and Caribbean atmosphere. The saddle jet is a fun, family-friendly machine that delivers great sensations. For the more sporty, the arm jet, a cross between surfing and motocross, can be ridden standing up. The Banana Rocket is a giant banana on which you are towed. The surf spot of La Sauzaie is the reference spot of the region. Characterized by a hollow and powerful wave, this spot of "reef" (rocky platier) offers pretty peaks surfable only at mid-tide and at high tide. This spot is not recommended for beginners, reserved for the initiated, with waves of 1 m to 2 m. The spot is lit every night from April to September. The best conditions to enjoy this wave: no wind or offshore (the spot does not support west and south winds), between 2 hours before and 2 hours after high tide.

The Plage des Dunes is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brétignolles, as it stretches for several kilometres. Just like Longeville-sur-Mer, the coast of Bretignolles is one of the top surfing spots in the Vendée. One of them is Plage des Dunes 1, at the place called "Le Petit Rocher", located between the Normandelière beach and the Dunes 1 lifeguard station. This surfing spot offers a sandy coastline, suitable for all types of surfers whatever their level, even beginners. It is also possible to surf on the Plage des Dunes 2.

This Handisurf certified school offers lessons from 6 years old. For beginners or to improve your skills. In July and August, the lessons and rental structure is located on the Dunes 1 beach opposite the surfing area. Practical and theoretical teaching on the knowledge of the environment, the equipment, the weather, safety... Surfing, body-boarding and paddle lessons (given on the Dunes beach) are available from the age of 6 (condition: have a 50 m swimming certificate). Out of season, surfing lessons are available.

The municipal sailing school is located on the beach of La Normandelière. Initiation and improvement courses, where private lessons in various nautical activities: Optimist, catamaran, windsurfing or kayaking. The base also welcomes groups and sea classes, it also provides equipment rental: catamaran, windsurfing, kayak and paddle. The sailing school also offers leisure sailing activities on Wednesdays and Saturdays from April to June and from September to November. New: windsurffoil, windsurfing board equipped with a foil.

This lake is located between Coëx and Saint-Révérend. A place that the fishermen know well since it is authorized to fishing. This lake of 37 hectares was created for the irrigation of the cultures and the Golf of Coex. The compacted clay dam, built on the Gué-Gorand stream, has created a water reservoir covering more than 25 hectares. A footpath allows you to walk around the reservoir by crossing the dam. You can see a very old chestnut tree with two trunks. The circuit of the lake of Gué-Gorand (12,9 km, approximately 3h30 of walk).

This 127-hectare reservoir extends over 5 communes: Sigournais, Monsireigne, Bazoges-en-Pareds and Tallud-Sainte-Gemme, offering hikers numerous trailheads, particularly on the La Morlière site. It is the largest water reservoir in the Grand Lay Valley. Set in a landscape of grassy or rocky hillsides, it is home to a colony of migrating ducks in the fall. As for leisure activities, nature lovers will be delighted: fishing (all white fish, pike-perch, pike-perch, carp), swimming, children's games, picnic tables.

This 55 hectare reservoir stretches along the river Lay with a succession of valleys and ends at the reservoir of the Angle Guignard dam. Along the lake, there are walking paths. The path along the lake allows you to reach the village of Fuiteau with its washhouse. On the leisure programme: swimming and fishing (with a pontoon for disabled people between Moulin Neuf and Touchegray), and canoeing (canoes for hire for 1 to 3 people), picnic area.

On the beach of Notre-Dame de Monts. Here, we offer you the following activities: sand yacht, catamaran, and since 2020 surfing - initiation, training courses, improvement. You can also take part in nautical regattas. Other activities on offer: stand-up puddle, coastal longe, sea kayaking, towed buoy (from 15/06 to 30/08), canoe trips in the Breton marshes. The sand yachting activity is adapted to disabled people with the supervision of a competent staff.

Mathieu Mercier welcomes 6 months of the year on the beach of Sauveterre, Olonne-sur-Mer, for surf/bodyboard lessons in homogeneous groups allowing an initiation and a fast improvement with the element, ensuring a secure approach of the marine environment. Equipment adapted to the size and level of each person is provided. This beach offers waves suitable for this practice, the sandy bottom allows to evolve safely. Since 2020, a foil school in Les Sables-d'Olonne, called Ohana Foil, to fly over the waves and practice foiling!

Discover Lac du Jaunay by the water, at La Baudrière, Saint-Julien-des-Landes, as well as at Le Pré and La Chapelle-Hermier, thanks to the recreational areas set up on the shores of Lac du Jaunay. You can rent canoes, kayaks and pedal boats for an unusual trip to discover the attractive shores of Jaunay. O'Abandonado offers sea outings aboard an old 1916 coaster for 18 passengers. Two-hour daytime and sunset cruises. Sea class, group and seminar outings are also organized. Every Sunday in July and August, take part in our day trips to the Ile du Pilier, a unique site where you can discover its history and monuments. Boat rental available for groups.

Crowned "Top club" in 2020 and 2021 by the French Sailing Federation, the Fort Saint-Pierre Nautical Center offers various formulas for learning to sail or improving your sailing skills in a superb setting and under ideal conditions. Weekly courses: sea garden (4-6 years), Optimist, dinghy, windsurfing, catamaran... Private lessons (all types of boats including wingfoil), family outings in a collective sailboat, multi-activity courses for teenagers, paddle outings, etc.

From Givrand, canoe, kayak, paddle or pedal boat rides. Navigation is on the Jaunay river, a calm river, accessible to all. You will admire the Vendée landscapes in a Natura 2000 protected area. After crossing the marshes and the forest, you will follow the dunes and arrive at the heart of the seaside resort. Make a stopover in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and discover its fishing and yachting port, its beaches and numerous activities. Night tours by reservation organized in July and August.

On Veillon beach, we offer surfing lessons for beginners and more experienced surfers. Private or group lessons, 3 to 5-day courses and a "first waves" course for 6-10 year olds to discover the first sensations of surfing in a fun and safe way. Equipment adapted to your level and morphology, provided. The Veillon spot is a beach break: the waves break over the sand. For beginners, learning about the currents, the dangers of the sea, the waves, how to glide on your stomach, how to row, how to straighten up...

This surf school is in the Phare area. The beach of Corps de Garde in La Tranche has been selected by Antoine because it allows a safe learning of surfing! The school welcomes children from 8 years old, through group lessons. On the other hand, the lessons are open from 6 years old, with an awareness of the marine environment first, before discovering the waves, their functioning and learning the techniques by alternating between the beach and the waves. Equipment rental and repair are also available.

This school has 2 sites: Plage de la Mine in Jard and Plage du Veillon in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. Surfing lessons for beginners and more experienced surfers. Ideal waves for beginners or advanced surfers. Individual or group lessons from 10 years old. For beginners, learning to acquire fundamental knowledge: currents and dangers, waves, moving with your board, sliding flat on your stomach, learning to paddle, straightening, gliding, taking direction, safety rules. Surf and bodyboard rental by the hour, half day or day.

Several water activities: jet-ski, towed buoy, gyropod. For the scooter, initiation from 16 years old. Rental with or without a licence, with briefing and supervision. 3-seater jet-skis for more stability and comfort. Holders of a coastal licence can rent a jet-ski with a 110CV or 180CV licence. Just as fun, the towed buoy (capacity 6 people), ideal to practice with friends or for a bachelor party. You can leave the water for dry land by renting a gyropod! It requires a bit of stability, but you'll soon get the hang of it!
