Artaban is first a cultural association whose vocation is to open the world of culture to a wider audience. The association is particularly committed to promoting historical knowledge on the subject, defending cultural diversity, opening up to the world and working on memories, particularly those linked to slavery and the Western slave trade. With a view to promoting balanced, reciprocal exchanges between societies in Africa, America and Europe, it carries out cultural projects at international level, in collaboration with local organizations.
