Your senses are quickly awakened by this tearoom. First your vision, which discovers a square surrounded by superb medieval architecture. Then your sense of smell and taste, as you encounter home-made pastries, artisanal ice creams, coffees, teas, lemonades, homemade fruit juices... At lunchtime, we offer a vegetarian savoury break. Everything is organic. Coffee and tea are available in bulk. This place is a paradise on the terrace in summer, or in the cosy little room in winter, with a cup of hot tea and a tasty pastry.

The Cardaillac has its origins in the family history linked to this secular house. Already at the beginning of the ^20th century, the house was used as a village café under the very poetic name of "Au bon café du midi". Nicole's grandmother acquired the house and kept the history of this café alive within the family. It was not until 2017 that her granddaughter, Nicole, reopened a café in the house. All the charm of the old stones offers to Cardaillac its so charming setting! We like to take a break here and taste an ice cream from the Alps (36 flavors to choose from).

This artisanal and family bakery since 1986 has been transformed into a place of life where all the Prayssacois and the others meet, in the heart of the village. The shaded terrace and the vast room offer beautiful spaces to take a hot or cold drink, accompanied by a pastry, or to read the newspaper with a small espresso. On Friday mornings, during the market, the place is packed! And in the summer, some concerts can be included in the program...

At the French Coffee Shop, everything invites you to relax and enjoy a coffee, a chocotella or a pastry indoors or out on the terrace. The shop is a popular meeting place. You can eat in or take away. A friendly, family atmosphere. You can of course enjoy a "classic" coffee or a cappuccino and hazelnut, as well as French Coffee Shop recipes. And there's no shortage of freshness, with smoothies, mokafrio, friotella, chocofrio... Enjoy!

The Café de l'Orme is a very old café, run many years ago by a well-known family of the village, which only the oldest will be able to tell you about. Closed for decades, it was reopened a few years ago. Today, it is the only point of commerce in the village. There is bread, a very small grocery department (a convenience store for walkers on the Way of St. James) but it is above all a place to meet for a coffee. You will find it in front of the church, on a very small square.

Florent and Mélanie Troublé offer 4 draught beers and 39 by the bottle. They make us travel around the world to the Lot. Their references are local beers like Ratz, abbey beers and beers of the world. Other curiosities are explored by these amateurs like a beer flavored with nettle, a passion-mango or quinoa. On the food side, the bar also serves breakfasts in the morning and platters of local charcuterie for lunch. Not to mention concert evenings on sunny days, and a warm atmosphere.

Opening in May 2019, Syrius's House offers more than 850 references in its catalog: with 10 drafts, this beer bar knows how to renew its menu for all tastes and desires. And even according to the season: in winter, the choice is for a black beer, while summer lends itself to génépi beer. Enthusiasts come from all over the world to taste these unusual beers. On the 80m² terrace or in the spacious dining room, you can accompany them with a charcuterie and cheese board. Concerts and entertainment are often organized.

Caroline welcomes you to her warm, colorful and flower-filled tea room. You can choose from a wide range of teas, as well as herbal teas, coffees or hot chocolates, fruit juices or artisanal syrups... Of course, those with a sweet tooth can accompany their drink with a home-made pastry or two. The vast majority of products are organic. Whether on the terrace overlooking the beautiful Place Gambetta and its arcades, or indoors, with a view over the valley, you're sure to enjoy a relaxed, gourmet moment.

Right in the center of town, Le Six invites you on a journey with its Spanish-style tapas and pintxos (patatas bravas, garlic mushrooms, cheese or ham croquettes, tortillas...), as well as Thai vegetable or chicken curries, and every Thursday, spicy evenings with Indian dishes. It's also the place to eat meat and fish cooked with hot stones. The service is efficient, the welcome warm and the place charming. The terrace in particular invites you to enjoy evenings out with friends. If you're a vegetarian, you'll easily find what you're looking for.

Cahors Youth Hostel inaugurated its rooftop bar, Ô Per Chai, in 2023, and it's been a great success: it's now possible for everyone to enjoy the magnificent view of Pont Valentré and the surrounding hills, while sipping their house cocktails, wines, beers, as well as cheese and charcuterie boards with local produce, tapas or ice creams. The bar organizes lively evenings: blind-tests, DJ or theme nights, and even live entertainment. The ideal spot to enjoy summer evenings in Cadurcia...

"Bicicleta" means "bicycle" in Occitan - the signature of places designed for cyclists, whether they are bicycle travelers, enthusiasts, occasional riders, tourists passing through or locals. In June 2021, Philippe opened his friends' bar, In Vin'Oh. And it's a success, the gangs of friends meet around a good glass of wine and a board of local charcuterie, cheese from Franche-Comté or both, and even seafood from Paimpol. The wines come from the Lot of course, but also from all over France. The beer is from Picardy, the owner's home region. Located on the city tour, the bar is spacious, completely renovated, and allows to welcome concerts regularly.
