Read moreSeveral itineraries by bike or on foot have been set up to discover the rich diversity of the Ria of Aveiro and its surroundings. The whole has been named "Great Route of the Aveiro Lagoon":
The Blue Route, 130.8 km, runs along the coastline, through marshes and pine forests, and around the dunes.
The Golden Road, 234 km, mixes sea, valley, and passes by the Vouga ecopiste.
The Green Route, 194 km long, passes through the Vouga valley, vineyards, forest and the center of Aveiro.
ECOPISTE ATLANTIQUE
Read moreThis eco-trail for bikes, roller skates and scooters is the largest in Portugal. It runs along the Atlantic coast for 62 km, from Pombal to Obidos. You will have the choice to ride the whole route divided in several roads or to ride only a part of it. From north to south, you will safely cross maritime and forest landscapes. On your way: the beach of Osso da Baleia (departure from Pombal), the lagoon of Ervedeira, Marinha Grande, Alcobaça, Nazaré, Sao Martinho and finally the lagoon of Obidos. Sporty and rejuvenating at the same time!

ECOPISTA DO VOUGA
Read moreThe ecopista do Vouga de São Pedro do Sul was inaugurated in 2017. It allows you to walk from the old train station of São Pedro do Sul to its thermal baths over a distance of just over 3 kilometres. A large part of the route is recognizable by its burgundy track while parts consist of paths forbidden to motor vehicles. This eco-trail is popular with the locals who will see you running or cycling. Ideal for a safe walk, following the old railway line and crossing historic bridges.
NAZARÉ SPORT AVENTURA
Read moreThis adventure park is located 5 km north of Nazaré, near the Praia da Falca with several options for dining. Here you will find two tree climbing courses with zip lines going up to 50 km/h. The beginners and the children will choose the course Level 1 while the more experienced and adventurous will go up to 30 m of height to be let down in tyrolienne with the course Level 2. Also of the rent of bicycles to the hour to visit Nazaré and of electric scooters. Reception at the top. Reservation required in low season.
