This small friendly place is run by a Swedish family. Nice, cozy and quiet rooms and quite cheap. On the west side of the promenade, it overlooks the beach, with a roof terrace. Reservations are highly recommended as this is a good deal considering the price and location. The city center is only a two-minute walk away, as is the beach. In the middle of the afternoon, enjoy the afternoon tea included in the rate.

Right in the center of the village, near the post office, this residence has modest but impeccable rooms, equipped with a small balcony with a hammock that one adopts willingly after a day on the beach. The furniture, typical of this village away from the tourist resorts, is rustic and country-style. But the buffet breakfast is nevertheless copious and served until noon, so sleeping in is allowed! This 3-story establishment with elevator, offers 30 bright rooms, modestly equipped, but with the comfort necessary for a short stay. Most of them have been refurbished. Flat screen TV and air conditioning are available in each room. For meals, a small restaurant with Portuguese specialties is available on the first floor. Breakfast is included and can be taken 100 meters from the Arenilha Guesthouse. This establishment is one of the best value for money in the city in its category.

Not far from the market and the tourist office, probably the best pension in the city. All 25 rooms are en route. The owner who lives in Marseille several months a year speaks in French and will indicate the right addresses of the corner. Book in advance in season.

Located in Alcantarilha, in the vicinity of Silves, a charming rural house with 26 rooms in a mansion whose construction was spread from the 15th to the 18th century. You will be received by a French woman who will take you on a guided tour through the different rooms of this house: the right wing was used to make olive oil, the chapel is classified as a historical monument, the second floor houses an exhibition room. Beautiful swimming pool in the middle of the park. An establishment classified as a historical architectural heritage.

In the garden, we enjoy the swimming pool. A stopover appreciated by hikers and cyclists travelling along the Via Algarvina, to recommend.

The building is grandiose, the architecture is pure and the lines are quite design. The 154 rooms including 18 suites are perfectly equipped with LCD TV, DVD player, MP3 player, minibar, Nespresso machine... In the suites, a flat-screen TV has even been integrated into the mirror above your bathtub: the chic detail that allows you to watch a good movie while bubbling in your bath... 5-star service!

The location of the hotel is very central. The eight rooms of this small pension are clean and functional but remain very basic. This is forty euros all year round, except in July and August where 10 more will be required. The bathrooms have been rebuilt in all rooms. As they are all at the same price, do not hesitate to ask one of the three rooms that have a terrace. The masters of the place, Manuela and her husband Augusto, speak French, which can be very practical. The room was clean and clean. Free to choose. An excellent value for money.
