A few kilometres west of Lisbon, a superb and gigantic circular open-air saltwater swimming pool with a view of the ocean, as well as a swimming pool for children. It is equipped with diving boards, surrounded by straw umbrellas and deckchairs for relaxation and tanning. To get there, simply take the Cascais line train and get off at the Oeiras stop. Then you will have to walk towards the marina.

Also offers kite surfing.

A base of numerous competitions and intense boating, the weekend, it works as a sailing school.

The Alfama municipal swimming pool, located opposite the Pantheon, is really quite small: 3 lines, 16 metres long, with a maximum depth of 1.20 metres! In other words, there's barely enough to swim in, but it's enough! If you haven't remembered to bring your bathing cap, the ladies at reception can provide you with one. And don't hesitate to ask for the times - it'll save you a lot of trouble (the pool is in the hills above the town)! If you're feeling a bit peckish, there's also a pool bar.

Três Ondas, or the three waves, is a surf school founded by Frithjof Gauss, the first German longboard champion, in Ericeira. Founded in 2001, the school has built up a solid reputation over the years. It offers minimum 5-day courses for all levels. You can take lessons with Rafa or Pedro. If you book on the website, you can also book your accommodation at the same time: apartments or hotel. They offer stays, but you can also book a day course on request.
