Mountain biking Meuse

The wind of Forests is a cultural initiative emanating from six villages meusiens, and to say it clearly as much: it is a success. For fourteen years, artists perform in residence have always shown more creative realizar bold and original works, then exhibited outdoors along the 45 km of trails breakfast room. Six marked trails are accessible to the public today. Open all year round, if you prefer the period March-September, except periods of hunting, to cover them.

Because it's necessary for all tastes and levels, this hiking route is more suitable for experienced riders. At the beginning of the Loisirs recreation base in Bonzée, it has the advantage of combining nature, culture and sport! You are in the heart of the Lorraine Regional Natural Park, in hilly countryside marked by the First World War.

First head towards Mont-Villiers, then to Mesnil-sous-Côtes and Les. From here, a detour is needed to climb the Crête ridge and join its ultimate "X Point". Go down the D 154 and ride up to Saint-Rémy-la-Calonne, where you will be on the D 332 to reach Saint-Maurice-sous-Côtes. Rejoingez then your starting point via Hannonville-sous-Côtes, Combres-sous-Côtes and Trésauvaux.

After the steam locomotive and the TGV, here is the Vélorail: a revolutionary machine designed to run outdoors on the kilometres of railway tracks that are now abandoned! What a great idea to discover the rich heritage of our sweet France! Walk through the forests, cross the plains, cross bridges, tunnels and viaducts from the former Forges à Belhaine station in Dannevoux, a true journey back in time, to be shared with friends or family.
