Are you dreaming of flying? The ULM centre of Marville offers air baptisms at 25 €, ULM outputs of one hour from 50 € and introductory courses for piloting. Discover the region view of the sky, the surrounding countryside and the citadel of Montmedy. The base has three different types of ULM. Nearby, the Renaissance Renaissance village, the recreation base of the Othain valley and its sailing school.

The Vallée de l'Ornain greenway runs along the former towpath of the Marne au Rhin canal, between Fains-Véel and Saint-Amand sur Ornain, passing through Bar-le-Duc and Ligny-en-Barrois. Some 30 kilometers long, it allows you to discover all the nearby villages by bike or on foot, on a bucolic walk linking 30 numbered locks. Picnic areas have been set up along the way. Rollerblading not possible.

15 Km from Ligny-en-Barrois, the school of horse and carriage is located in the heart of the village of Biencourt. It is run by Jean-Marc Wozniak, qualified instructor. Visitors can follow particular lessons to learn how to run a horse and carriage or horse riding. The school also offers carriage rides, and pony or horse. Guest rooms are available for Overnight accommodation (+ breakfast for two people at €).

It features a fishing pond where visitors can catch trout. Anglers can catch as many fish as they like before coming to weigh them. On request, the fish farm can also clean and gut the trout. The trout are bred with respect for their well-being and requirements, in an exceptional environment. For added convenience, it is possible to visit the fish farm.

Just next to the city of Bar-le-Duc, the small town of Fains-Véel has a club for those who want to discover this practice and fly around the surrounding area. The club has a hangard and a 375-metre track. It offers 15, 30 or 60 minutes air baptisms on the village plateau, as well as initiations and short flights. The wind of Forests is a cultural initiative emanating from six villages meusiens, and to say it clearly as much: it is a success. At the beginning of the Loisirs recreation base in Bonzée, it has the advantage of combining nature, culture and sport! You are in the heart of the Lorraine Regional Natural Park, in hilly countryside marked by the First World War.

First head towards Mont-Villiers, then to Mesnil-sous-Côtes and Les. From here, a detour is needed to climb the Crête ridge and join its ultimate "X Point". Go down the D 154 and ride up to Saint-Rémy-la-Calonne, where you will be on the D 332 to reach Saint-Maurice-sous-Côtes. Rejoingez then your starting point via Hannonville-sous-Côtes, Combres-sous-Côtes and Trésauvaux.

At the start of the lavoir-lès-Vaucouleurs wash-house, browse the discovery trail of local fauna and flora. With its ^19th-century neoclassical façade embellished with glass and metal, the Verdun aquadrome is a surprisingly contemporary building. Inside, bathed in light, you'll find a wide range of facilities: a large sports pool, a fun pool (max. depth 1.40 m), counter-current swimming, hydromassage jets, an artificial river and a 35 m waterslide. For those who prefer to relax and pamper themselves, the sauna, hammam and whirlpool await you. Various courses.

Meuse Canoe offers climbing on the Meuse to experience a unique experience and discover nature, fauna and flora from the river. Canoes a place for initiation, two places or four for two adults and one child are for hire. The route between Charny-sur-Meuse and Regnéville presents no risk and allows you to enjoy the practice at the same time as the discovery of the aquatic environment. Two other courses are directed at beginners and one, around Verdun, to connoisseurs. It is possible to eat on the water in Charny.

This sports course is located on the heights of the city. With a length of 1095 metres, it offers thirteen steps, three of which will warm, a slalom, bars, rings, stairs… Each event is presented on a small panel and the course extends on a green terrain, presenting different species of trees. For children, a swing playground awaits them. The journey is close to the forest on the Sainte-Catherine side, which offers beautiful walks.

Seven hiking routes are walkers.

The communauté de communes du pays de Revigny offers 7 fully-marked hiking trails in loops. These walks range from 5 to 14.5 km, and can be completed in half a day. The circuits allow you to discover the heritage of the surrounding villages. Links between the loops have also been opened to cater for more experienced walkers. On two wheels: two bike trails: a 15 km loop and a 35 km loop. Discover the natural, architectural and rural heritage of the Meuse region in the midst of beautiful landscapes.

Between Saint-Mihiel and Commercy. The association breeds about twenty breeds of donkeys, including the black of Berry and the grey of Provence.
