Here we work as a family! This restaurant is one of the great tables of the region. Lizelle, Elsabe's daughter and chef decorated many times for her fine Sudafs preparations, is at the stove while Rudolf, her husband, unfolds the menu with an enthusiasm that does not seem to diminish over the years. The gastro address of the Route des jardins, which has 4 rooms of great comfort opening onto a large terrace overlooking the lagoon. For breakfast, the pancakes of the hostess, Elsabe, are worth the effort alone!

Here you can enjoy simple, no-frills cuisine prepared with quality local products. Fresh salads, tapas, poke bowls, gourmet burgers and wood-fired pizzas, the menu gives free rein to the most diverse desires. Special mention for the chicken burger, with its excellent Japanese-style marinated chicken. On the terrace or in the patio, the setting is pleasant but the seats are quickly taken, especially during the regularly organized concerts. Very nice cocktail menu. Attentive and careful service.

The best location.

In the centre of George, La Capannina can't be missed under its wide green roof. Here you will find Italian-inspired cuisine, but also some regional specialties. The menu ranges from baked pizza to the very local and tasty ostrich steak, a mushroom risotto, and of course a good fresh fish - let's not forget that we are by the sea. In this restaurant, the dishes are absolutely delicious and the service is attentive. Everything is done to make the customer feel at home.

The setting is sublime: in the middle of the canopy, you dine by candlelight, separated from the forest by a bay window, accompanied by attentive service. On the plate: creative fusion cuisine, blending world cuisine influences with great finesse, such as the tender kudu fillet with cherry-dark chocolate sauce, or the Indonesian chicken curry with green beans, cashews, toasted coconut and spicy fig chutney, not forgetting the vegetarians. And to top it all off, a fine wine cellar.
