El Mediator is THE concert hall of the Théâtre de l'Archipel. With a capacity of 900 people, this place in Perpignan is a reference for all music lovers. Since its creation in 1962, the film club has come a long way and now has the status of a cultural centre. In the Marcel-Oms room, about 20 films are shown every quarter, often followed by rich and constructive debates on the relationship between the film and its time. The Institut Jean-Vigo is currently the only permanent French centre for animation and film research with an associative structure.
