Read moreTravelers coming from Nîmes, Clermont-Ferrand or Le Puy-en-Velay usually disembark in Lozère at the Mende train station, one of the most important in the area. There is a waiting area open from Monday to Thursday, as well as on public holidays; and a food distributor to stock up on drinks and snacks before each trip. The trips are mainly made by bus and also allow to travel within the department, towards Marvejols or further east towards La Bastide-Puylaurent in particular.

Read moreMarvejols is one of the main train stations of Lozere, allowing to take a line to cross the department from east to west until La Bastide-Puylaurent. It is a real gateway to the territory for travelers coming from Béziers. It is also possible to arrive at the station of Marvejols, by bus, from Aveyron, and Millau in particular. Inside, as in most of the small country stations, it is a minimum service with a waiting area of a few seats and a food dispenser to buy some snacks.
