METEO DES ROUTES
Read moreThe site of Weather France (www.meteofrance.com) presents weather forecasts over the next four days, by region and department; the vigilance card indicating whether a weather hazard threatens one or more departments within 24 hours with four colours (green, yellow, orange, red).
The card is regularly updated at 6 a. m. and 16 p. m.; more often, if significant changes are made in the forecast. Where the map includes an orange or red zone, it shall be accompanied by regular monitoring bulletins specifying the evolution of the phenomenon, its trajectory, its intensity and its end.
Before taking the road, consult the websites such as www.mappy.fr or viamichelin.com by indicating the municipalities of departure and arrival, you will get a precise and detailed itinerary. You will know even the estimated duration of the journey.
To avoid unnecessary detours or to establish a travel budget, these services allow you to define a route and calculate its cost: direct route, toll free, per step and according to your vehicle (caravan or not). Finally, these services provide traffic information, useful for busy weekends.
