A large swimming pool, previously designed for Darwin's supply of drinking water, allows you to swim in fish and freshwater turtles. Area for picnic and a short trail of discovery of the flora. Historical information panels provide a better understanding of the importance of the site during World War II. It is above all a green area appreciated by the people of Darwin.

LAKE BENNETT

Lake Bennett is a man-made lake between Humpty Doo and Adelaide River, and a popular resort for Darwinites. It's rarely mentioned in tourist brochures, yet it's the perfect place for a short stay or a break after one of your adventures. The main advantage is that you can swim in the lake, which is also very popular with sport fishermen and canoe-kayak enthusiasts.
