Saint-Siffret

4 km from the City of Art and History of Uzès, is a small village as there are many in the Pays d'Uzège. Built into the rock, on a cliff, Saint-Siffret, built in acropolis, shines with the charm of its heritage. With its picturesque alleys, Saint-Siffret reveals architectural treasures and many centers of interest. Don't miss its Romanesque church from the end of the 12th century, or its Templar commandery with its pretty 12th-century fortified gate.

From Saint-Siffret, "Chemin de Collias", follow the markings "N°11 vert", (very easy).

Walk through this calm and peaceful environment where nature is king. Between the garrigue, the mistral and the arid land, two renowned grape varieties have established their vineyards not far from Saint-Siffret: the wines of Chusclan and Saint-Nabor carry in their dresses this Mediterranean typicity specific to the Côtes du Rhône wines.

Continue your journey along the Lembertes path. Between holm oaks and olive trees. Linger over the magnificent view of the village of Saint-Hippolyte de Montaigu, nestled in its green setting.

The loop ends by returning to your starting point in Saint-Siffret.
