Aquaviva, a superb imitation of Total Wipeout in the USA! With family or friends, the Water Jump water park is located at Lac de la Cavayère, 5 minutes from the medieval city of Carcassonne, and boasts XXL inflatable games, giant slides, trampolines, catapults and obstacle courses covering an area of no less than 6,000 m², and is a real hit with young and old alike! Fun, exhilarating and... exhausting, this park makes you want to try it all and come back again! The less adventurous will enjoy watching the acrobats from the comfort of their deckchairs and hammocks in the shade of the pine forest, with a drink in hand (ordered from the on-site snack bar)... For thrill-seekers: the giant iceberg for climbing and jumping, and the Big Water-Jump with its 10 slides and two jumping platforms of 5 and 8 metres, suitable for young and old alike and the only one of its kind in the world! It's scary, it's adrenalin-pumping, and that's what we like! We appreciate the efforts made every year to improve the park with new features. You'll be equipped with buoyancy jackets, so you can set off in complete safety, supervised by six qualified lifeguards, with floating plates installed - a great success for this attraction, which involves going as far as possible without falling into the water. Practical: valuables can also be stored in the reception chalet. Aquaviva, a must-see attraction in the département, to share with friends or family!

Aquajet is the must-see leisure park in Narbonne! Set in 1 ha of greenery, its aqualudic pools are equipped with water slides. On the programme: 2 pools, 2 paddling pools and 6 water jump ramps at 8, 10 and 12 m. On land, inflatable games and trampolines await the youngest visitors. And if you don't want to get wet, you can take advantage of the sun loungers and snack bar. Tip: once you've got your wristband on, you can come and go as you please throughout the day.

Located in a fabulous site, the Port Mahon Sigean nautical base welcomes you from March to November for light sailing courses, nautical excursions, regatta organization or Handivoile activities. You can windsurf, catamaran, windsurf, wingfoil, windfoil, funboat, kayak or paddle. Exceptional paddle "Wildline" or kayak "100% nature at the end of the day" trips are also available, as well as "water trekking" discovery tours, to be enjoyed alone in the great outdoors.

Espace de Liberté is the Aude department's and the region's flagship sports and tourist site, offering a wide range of activities to suit all tastes:

Aqualudic area: In the indoor area, you'll discover a 25 m, 6-lane swimming pool, heated to 29°C. Families will discover an aqua-family area with slides, a bubble bath and a 300 m² Slash Pad for safe fun. The O'Tonic, a special aquafitness pool, is dedicated to aquabike, crosstraining, Pilates... Outdoor swimmers will appreciate the south-facing Olympic pool (50 m), open from April 1 to a date depending on the weather forecast. For relaxation: the solarium and shaded picnic area. In summer, don't miss the famous Water Jump, featuring 4 exceptional 9 to 12 m-high slopes.

The skating rink: Both sporty and fun, the skating rink caters for all ages. Light shows and DJs accompany young and old on the 800 m² ice rink. It's the perfect place to have fun with friends in a relaxed atmosphere, or to perfect your skating skills and perform the most daring tricks.

Bowling: Discover the 12 superb bowling lanes with scenography and its English pub, the Private Bowling Club. The Private Bowling Club is ideal for after-work, in the evening for delicious cocktails and on Thursdays for free live concerts, comfortably seated in cosy armchairs.

This 100-hectare stretch of water is a wonderful place to relax, where windsurfers, canoeists, kayakers and carp fishermen all have a great time. Its supervised beaches are an invitation to relax, sunbathe and swim... The lake is just a two-minute drive from Homps, the Mecca of boating on the Canal du Midi, and the starting point for a trip along the water on traditional gabares. Every summer, water games are set up on the lake; ask about rates.

This certified diving school is based in Port-Leucate, a few steps from the sea. On the spot, several formulas will be proposed to you according to your expectations and your level: initiation, discovery, training, exploration... Everything is done under the aegis of qualified instructors, passionate and qualified "guides of the sea". Specialists in diving for children, the instructors organize baptisms from the age of 6. The environment of the club promises magnificent dives: rocky plateau, coralligenous bottoms, maze of "la Sorcière"...

Bram's Lac de Buzerens water sports center has become a must. Try out the water ski lift on an 800 m loop, ideal for beginners and for enjoying wakeboarding, skateboarding, water skiing and knee-boarding. For those who prefer to relax, there's paddle-boarding, pétanque or just lazing around. There are playgrounds for the little ones, and a walk around the lake. If you're feeling peckish, the snack bar is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, including for outside guests in search of nature or chill out.

Over 10,000 m², you'll find a variety of facilities: balneotherapy and massages, games and sports areas. Fancy a workout? Then head to the cardiotraining and fitness area, equipped with the very latest equipment! With a view of the sea and pond, the 25 m sports pool offers a wide range of activities (aquatonic, aquapalm, aquabike, swimming lessons). In summer, outdoor facilities include a slide, inflatable games, etc.

Loca-Détente is located right on the marina, making it the ideal place to discover the Aude coastline. A refuge and a stopover in the heart of a wild and preserved nature, in exceptional landscapes to discover by boat. Loca-Détente offers motorboat rentals for all tastes, with or without a license, as well as towed accessories for the more sporty. Can be cancelled by Loca-Détente in the event of bad weather. If you're between the ages of 7 and 95, Luc and his team are giving you the chance to do just that, with an Aquastepper ride through the Gruissan lagoon at a leisurely or sporty pace. It's very stable, easy to use and effortless. And here's a clever little tip: as rentals run from sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy a trip in this idyllic setting at the end of the day. "Akila Gruissan Pôle Étang" is a sailing school for beginners and advanced sailors. The certified staff is very attentive and able to teach different levels. Several sports are practiced such as wing foil, windsurfing, funboard, optimist or canoe... The material park is of very last technology to progress in the best conditions. The magnificent pond of Mateille is a secure place ideal for learning these various disciplines.

Carcassonne's Pôle Aqualudique, due to open in 2021, is living up to its promise and attracting large numbers of locals and tourists alike. Located opposite the banks of the Aude on the emblematic Païchérou site, the pools boast a soothing view over the countryside. This fun and sports complex has 2 swimming pools, 1 of which is outdoor, a relaxation pool with swan neck and massage jets, a waterslide and a paddling pool with games for the little ones. The 25-meter-long outdoor pool (same as the indoor pool), with its 8 swimming lanes, is a paradise for lap swimmers, while a solarium is available for sunbathing. Hydro-gym and hydro-biking classes are also available. After your workout, you'll appreciate the more intimate balneo area, with a small pool equipped with massage beds, jets and fountains, as well as a second outdoor pool, sauna, hammam and sensory showers. Finally, a few words about the cardio-training area, with group classes and state-of-the-art machines for your solo workouts. Special mention must be made of the themed evenings organized according to the season, such as the "Soirées Zen" or activities and entertainment during the Christmas vacations. End the day with a short stroll along the Aude.

From Saint-Amans, we are committed to the D 999 towards Ribennes and, after a few kilometres, we joined the valley of Colagne, on which an artificial dam created a small lake. On its beach, there is a bar and parasols, car canoes, pedal boats and mountain bikes. Games occupy the children while parents are relax or bathing. The warned fisherman will look for some quiet corners for teasing trout.

Fancy a sunken breaststroke, windsurfing or paddleboarding? It's all possible at Lac de la Ganguise, halfway between Carcassonne and Toulouse, in the communes of Baraigne, Cumiés, Gourvielle and Molleville. The 280-hectare dammed lake forms the artificial Estrade reservoir, surrounded by pine forests, fields of sunflowers and wheat - open air guaranteed. This horseshoe-shaped lake mainly collects water from the Ganguise river to the south-east, making it the largest body of water in the département. The two arms of the lake meet at the dam to the northwest. A small island can be seen in the southern arm, home to grey herons and kingfishers, two protected species that are a delight for birdwatchers. For sports enthusiasts, sailing, windsurfing, horse-riding and fishing are just some of the activities on offer at the departmental nautical base, not forgetting swimming in hot weather (unsupervised) and fishing, even at night in some places (contact the Castelnaudary AAPPMA). You can hire your own boat, and if you're a keen sailor, why not join the Castelnaudary Sailing Club, which you can find here. Training courses are organized by the school, and numerous regattas and challenges take place regularly on the water, stimulating the competitive spirit and inculcating real bonds of solidarity and camaraderie.

The club run by Julien and Caroline, two ex-champions of windsurfing, is one of the must-see spots in the sport. Located on the Goulet spot, it attracts professional riders and amateurs looking for equipment and training. The duo rents out windsurf and paddle equipment, organizes courses, hosts events during the summer season and puts two skateboard ramps at your disposal. At the Wesh Center Crew, you can also eat a delicious burger or have a drink, while enjoying a breathtaking view of the pond. A great spot!

More than just an attraction: a place to relax, enjoy natural sports and dine out, the Lac de la Cavayère ski lift combines the best of water sports in the largest expanse of water on site. From simple ski lifts to wake-boarding and paddleboarding demos and contests, beginners and enthusiasts alike can free-style on the floating structures dotted around the course, while sipping a soft drink at the end of the day in front of the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Created by Carcassonne Agglo, which comprises 82 municipalities, Les Bains de Minerve consists of an outdoor basin and two interiors, a relaxation area with sauna and steam bath, a snack and a restaurant. Various activities are proposed, such as aquabike, "baby swimmer" initiation, activities for future mothers that take place with a midwife, and many aquatic games. Animations are organized for children who can, for example, celebrate their birthday here. The relaxation area allows you to enjoy benefits such as different types of massages, osteopathy sessions, sauna or steam bath, or floral therapy. Everything is studied for the well-being and comfort of visitors. Because relaxation is important for all, Les Bains de Minerve is equipped with a wheelchair and a wheelchair for the shower, for people with reduced mobility. For people who are fond of strong sensation, "Haute Vallée de l'Aude" is the perfect place to practice canyoning, rafting,  hydrospeed, or other water running sports suggested by Rodéoraft. The starting point of the adventure is at Belvianes and Cavirac, small village 4 km in the south of Quillan. Managed by professionals, you will discover with the current of the exceptional landscapes in the middle of a green nature, and you will experience an unforgettable feelings for kids and for adults.
