Honestly, a very good restaurant a few minutes from Olympia and far from its tourist taverns. At Théa (which means "the view", because you can enjoy a pleasant panorama), it is customary to start the meal with a particularly garlicky tzatziki or an eggplant salad. Especially ask for the excellent pasto, pork marinated in wine, orange, tomatoes and chopped omelette. A delight to enjoy on the terrace. And the prices are reasonable.

Pork cooked with fresh vegetables (green beans, eggplants) is excellent such as baked pork with potatoes, lamb in lemon and fresh oregano sauce, steamed meatballs and local chicken with cheese and onion. The lamb chops are also very good! The welcome is charming and the prices moderate.

The wine cellar is also well furnished. Pleasant atmosphere. We chose meat and scallops and both dishes were excellent.

We liked the arugula salad with dried tomatoes, pine nuts and goat cheese from the region, linguine with mushrooms and parmesan, keftedes (meatballs in the oven) with a yogurt sauce. And what about chocolate desserts... a real delight!

Read moreA superb tavern by the sea whose quality does not decline! The quality even seems to improve over time. We particularly recommend saganaki shrimp or grilled shrimp. But everything is good and really cheap. The fish are fresh and tasty, don't hesitate to follow the waiter in the kitchen to choose the one you like! Greek ready meals are also à la carte for a very fair price. The quality of the welcome is quite exceptional. And icing on the cake: the location.

We could probably suggest some renovations to the owner, but the tavern is still worth a visit!

But we advise you to take a short detour to Pikoulianika, a small mountain village where people eat very well! A traditional mountain restaurant where everything is homemade, with local products exclusively! You can mainly enjoy meat dishes (meatballs in red sauce, lemon chicken, grilled meats), but also baked eggplants or fried zucchini.
